Not really my cup of tea.
I was visiting on business for two nights. I was not really impressed with the area as far as a vacation selection. The hotel appears to be one of the better options on the island and it was certainly adequate for my purposes. There is still some modifications/expansions going on next to the hotel, so access to the breakfast area required going down and back up additional steps, or take the elevator. The breakfast was pretty good each morning, but you need to beat the tourist crowd. I had dinner one night in one of the three adjacent restaurants owned by the hotel. You can actually eat from any of the menus while sitting in any of the restaurants. The ceviche was excellent but the fish fillet (red snapper) was totally over cooked, dry and tough. We complained and they were apologetic but we didn't return. My room was a bit noisy in the evening with people walking along the boardwalk at night, late night and early morning it seems.

Bad Customer Service
We arrived late to the hotel (23:00 local time) and when checking in the receptionist found out that our reservation was made for the next day not the day we arrived. The person who made the reservation reserved the wrong date but that is fine, we asked the receptionist if she can move the reservation to one day before since the room is already paid. The hotel can either move the reservation one day ahead, or cancelled the reservation and use that money for the night that we are staying. Since we are only staying for 1 night, I do not see any problem at all for the hotel to make the adjustment for to accommodate the guest. The hotel still receive the 1 night payment and the client gets to rest 1 night as well. Ofcourse, only when the hotel is not fully booked. Which it was not by the time that we are checking in at almost midnight. The hotel refused to help us make the adjustment and the excuse was because the reservation was done thru and they cannot do anything which is full of excuses. The hotel is alright compared other hotels around in the area. (others are like 2 stars with no hot water etc) This one is fine although the room we got we noticed the AC has mold on the wall and the cleaniness is just OK. The shower does not has strong pressure, hot water does not come out as consistent as it should be. The room costed $210.00 a night has no windows. It was dark even in daytime you have to turn on the light. Its in front of the beach.

Best hotel in San Andres by far!
Great hotel, recently refurbished, prime location. Would recommend to get a sea view room, the balcony was amazing! Low points: no gym and not enough spots with shade on the pool.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable and located on the beach on the main area of town. The room was big and confortable as well as the bed but we had problems with odors coming from the bathroom. We told the administration but nothing was done about it. The front-desk people were not very helpful but the service people everywhere else were very nice.
