good for what you pay
great location with convenient shuttle. Only gripe...they now charge $25 a night to park, even if you're a guest. Did not used to be like that and is not mentioned anywhere on their website. This now puts it on par with equally priced hotel rooms that include free parking.

where the peasants stay
Holiday inn, put some real lights in your room . I know everyone in Vail hugs trees but I felt like Helen Keller trying to find everything in the room after sundown. And a few more coffee pods wouldn't hurt either. Overall, pretty quiet in the room unless someone walked by or sneezed. I realize these are not the high price rooms nearer the ski lifts where the beautiful people stay but we still did pay higher than average for a holiday Inn rom. And 25 bucks a night for parking . Yowzah!! Anyway, I am just a simple country boy and probably will not pass this way again. Overall, the Vailians were very nice people.

Not a Condominium, a Slightly Shabby Holiday Inn
Don't be fooled by the name, this is a regular Holiday Inn - the word 'Condominiums' has nothing at all to do with this property. My 'standard' room was a plain old Holiday Inn room, dingy, simple, unadorned. The rooms that are 'Apex' are in the same hallways as the rooms that are Holiday Inn, there is not an ounce of premium associated despite the connotation that calling something 'condominiums' suggests. As a run-of-the-mill roadside Holiday Inn the room was fine, but I was disappointed given the price I paid (high but holiday season) and impression given by the listing.

My friend and I had a great experience for the price. We booked the room last minute over the Christmas holiday. The skiing in Vail was great, and the hotel was a great place to stay to rest up for the next day of skiing.
