At first I was a little worried, but the room was very clean (you could smell the bleach) location is perfect for bus and train routes. Easy to get around town.

Convenient, great deal, wonderful stay
Stay was great, the hotel was very nice, service was great. Would have loved a lift but that is not common over there. Let us store our bags while we explored after checkout. Surroundings were quiet enough to sleep, yet lively to explore.

Reasonable Budget Room in Central London
Reasonable sized room for the budget traveller that has to be near the center of London. Fine for a one or two night stay for a solo person, but probably not suitable for couples or those wanting a longer stay.

Wouldn't use it next time
There were noisy people partying somewhere in the basement all the night. The room was very hot overnight despite the open window. It is too small to get the air fresh. No conditioning. Overall clean and tidy.

No rush to return
The room for the price was acceptable, the bed wasn't very comfortable but was ok. The receptionist when we checked in appeared annoyed at us for disturbing him watching something, just about directed us to our room but no other information an no real greeting. The receptionist when we checked out was friendly but we had to wake him as he was fast asleep on the chair. I wouldn't have felt safe in the area on my own. It wasn't a terrible stay an served the purpose for a night, but I wouldn't be in a hurry to return.
