The room was great. View was awesome. It was a 2 minute walk to the venue (Blue Hills Bank Pavilion), and a matter of minutes to anything else we wanted/needed to walk to. The Valet service was backed up pretty heavily when we got there, but cleared up pretty quickly. The only real complaint I have, is that the single bottle of spring water in the room had a $4 price tag on it...literally.

Excellent Hotel, amazing staff
We booked this hotel because of its close proximity to the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion. We were coming to Boston to attend our son's college graduation to be held at the Pavilion. We arrived Friday, graduation was Saturday, and we left on Sunday. Arrival was so smooth from pulling into the front and valet taking our car to the secure parking area to check in. The rooms were a good size for 4 adults though they should have queen beds not doubles. The beds were very comfortable. We were able to see planes land and take off from Logan and even could see the cruise ship docked in port. There were plenty of great restaurants nearby in walking distance. The staff was amazing and quick to help. We had a leaking shower head and after telling the front desk staff they had someone up to our room to fix it within 15 minutes. If we called for extra towels within 5 minutes they were brought to our room. Our entire stay was great. I wish more hotels made their guests as much of a priority as this one does. I am also a Marriot Rewards member and will be letting them know how great our stay was.

We booked this hotel through Hotels.com because it was advertised with free parking. When we arrived there we were told that the hotel doesn't offer free parking and we need to valet park at $48.00 per night. It was only the 2nd day that the hotel concierge asked about our stay and we explained our situation. She waived our valet parking fee and explained that they are having an issue with hotels.com. Apparently in order to sell rooms hotels.com have been advertising amenities the hotel doesn't offer. The Renaissance was great it making it up, just wished they did it at check in .The hotel was clean and the staff courteous. The pool was too cold for the kids and the spa tub was cool.

Great stay. The pool area could be better.
Everything was great during our stay. The pool was not great as expected from a lux hotel. The hut tub was more like warm tub!! We requested higher temperature for hot tub but nothing changed although promised. Sona was also alarming as soon as got hot!
