Andrew Pinckney Inn, Charleston
Charm of an old hotel with comfort of a new
Great position, walked everywhere. Loved the extra touches like happy hour, chilled water and freshly baked cookies at reception.Hotel is undergoing renovations so unfortunately just missed out on the opening of their roof top breakfast room, looking forward to going back and checking that out.

Perfect Location!
it was our first trip to Charleston and we wanted a small inn close to historic sites and restaurants. Andrew Pinckney Inn was the perfect location! We were within walking distance of museums, historic homes and Charleston City Market. We'd came in very late due to a plane delay and staff was very polite and helpful. Room was small but beautifully done in plantation style. We would definitely stay here again!

Too bad it was under renovation
Great location, great room in itself, but unfortunately the building I was on, across the street from the main reception, was under renovation. And that famous breakfast on the roof was not more because of the renovation, and guests have to go to the Doubletree for breakfast and that was so disappointing -- not just the walk but the very average food served. And, being across the street from the reception, service was minimal anyway.

Breakfast was the best feature
Excellent accommodations and service. We especially enjoyed breakfast on the open portico with seagulls and other smaller birds to keep us amused. Just don’t abandon your food—those birds are sneaky thieves!
