Little Italy
This is a hard one. I loved the area I loved the staff I loved feel of the place but it was a little pricy for my taste. I just got back from a nice hotel in Seville, Spain and paid 70 Euro for a great location with a pool and bar on the top floor. Dolce villa was in a great location but something was missing. I feel like if I paid 50 dollars less my experience would have been over the moon. I had to pay 20$ for parking as well so overall the room cost me nearly 200$ IMO I would have loved it to cost 100$ - 125$ ish. That being said it was in a great area and for one night it wasn't bad; two nights for $400 would have been crazy.

Great location/ Tiny room!
The staff was great and very friendly. The location was perfect. We ate at the restaurant that was downstairs and thought it was very good. The air conditioning in the room did not work well, the shower water pressure was poor. The room was extremely tiny!!. Not much you can do about the size of the room but poor air conditioning should be improved.

Front desk was very nice and informative. Room was small, and there is no parking after 2 am so we were charged 20 dollars for a valet. That should be noted before reservations are made.

Good budget hotel if you just need a place to stay
Our room was on the ground floor and had a great view of the dumpster from the restaurant next door as well as the carpenter sawing something for an hour while I was trying to have a mid-afternoon nap. The room itself was good for a place to stay. My girlfriend and I were all in all satisfied in that we just wanted a place to stay and it didn't have any glaring issues. If I were on a <$90 budget and wanted a great location, I'd go here again.

You get what you pay for
I tried calling the hotel to inform them I would be checking in late. No one answered and no one returned my call. When I arrived it took 20 minutes to check in because the clerk was on the phone with a different client. My first room had a broken lock, no telephone and was next to the garbage dumpster which was used until 2 am and then emptied by a loud truck at 5:30 am. The bathroom was very small but clean with a good strong shower. The mattress was firm. You couldn't pull the shade back on the one window because it was on the alley at ground level (and the view was only of the dumpster). I was told this was the only room left in the hotel. After my insistence, the manager discounted the first night stay and upgraded me to a one bedroom suite on the second floor away from the dumpster. The room had a funny smell. The bathroom fixtures were rusting. The sink drain was missing a piece, there were no hangars in the closet and the mattress was soft. I woke up with a back ache. Not an overall good experience. The only redeeming aspect was the price of the room.
