Great view, lots of space for a 1 bdrm
These are nicely built spacious condos in a well kept resort setting. It never feels too crowded at the Point. The BBQ areas are kept spotless and it's nice to have the ability to do your own cooking both in door and out in an area where restaurants are incredibly pricey. We had a one bedroom for the 4 of us - with lots of room. My only gripe is the mattress that was in the fold out sofa - they really need to upgrade that thing.

Big Island family vacation
We stayed in F204, a one bedroom with "ocean view". The condo is nice but has not been recently renovated. We were directly facing the golf course but close enough to the ocean that we had a nice view from the balcony. It was definitely not the view from the example given online, and that was a disappointment. From the map that we received when we arrived, we would have had a more directly ocean facing condo, so they seem to have some capacity for alternative facts. Everyone was very friendly. This is a gated community, with access to gated parking for a nice sand and snorkeling beach, so we did not worry about theft, which can be a problem in Hawaii, apparently. If your go to activity is snorkeling and or golfing, and you are not short on funds, this is a good place. Hawaii seems to have a very small insect which liked to invade our kitchen space and was a nuisance. The washer was very loud, likely due to too high pressure in the pipes, and the bathroom faucets made a high pitched sound when turned on. The sleeper sofa had a thin mattress, although the kids did not specifically complain about it. We had daily cleaning and fresh towels, although I wouldn't say the cleaning ladies are obsessive about leaving everything spotless. There were very nice restaurants close by, including at the beach. A local market has good food, fish and produce, with prices comparable to a Whole Foods, more or less. There is a very good and free hula show on Mon and Thurs evenings.

Pretty area and clean ro, but still a bit disappoi
My husband and I stayed here for the last half of our honeymoon. We were really looking forward to using the beautiful fitness center shown in the pictures, but upon going there, ready to work out, we found that since we were staying at Mauna Lani Point (not "the hotel") we were not eligible to use it for free. It cost $25 per person per day!! Needless to say, we had a very warm and free run outside instead. The resort shuttle was nice, the shops and dining were ok. Typical resort/upscale touristy stuff. However there was absolutely no food delivery available in the area, including pizza. I guess maybe we just aren't resort-type people.

Perfect for family vacation
Condo's beat regular hotels for family trips. This had a full sized kitchen, table, seating area and nice patio area with view of hole 11. It was walking distance to the beach (10 min) with great walking paths and ability to view fish without having to snorkel.

A lovely way to vacation in Hawaii
This condo is managed by Classic Resorts and is nicely furnished and equipped. We enjoy being able to prepare a simple breakfast and the space to relax in private. Mauna Lani resort is a beautiful resort with lots of dining options and shopping. This condo complex is located in a prime location with ocean and golf course views.
