We loved everything about the property especially the wild animals. The options of having multiple pools were great. They had great entertainment. Food could be better. Out of the 5 restaurants our favorites were the hibachi and Brazilian. Buffet food was so so. Bars were great and the staff always has a smile. The only negative is te guys that are trying to sell you time share its a bit frustrating. One day we were stopped 6 times.

We stayed at the Tropical Deluxe in January 2022 shortly after they reopened from remodel we loved it in 2022 and returned this year February 2023 and unfortunately disappointed this time. Buffet tables were never bussed and would just seat us at dirty tables, and dinner reservations we tried booking the moment we arrived and only options were 9:30pm which isn’t ideal with children and interfering with the shows. The time we did go to the dinner service took a long time and forgot the apps. The grounds themselves are beautiful but after a year pathway is already tearing up. Our family suite had broken AC in the bunk bed room so we had to sleep with the king room door open to have air circulating. Also we tipped often but if we left an 5$ for first drink the second drink the bartender would ask for a tip, very unprofessional. Unfortunately won’t be back and will return to our favorite spot in Playa Del Carmen Mexico where 4-5 star hotels are actually luxury.
