About The Dominican, Brussels

Elegant Brussels hotel in former abbey, near Grand-Place

2 minutes from metro

The historic Dominican Hotel, built on a 15th-century abbey, is an ideal destination for exploring the Grand-Place, 7 minutes away on foot. Getting around the city is easy, because the hotel is a 2-minute walk from tram lines and De Brouckere metro station.

Music and chocolate

The hotel neighbors La Monnaie De Munt, where you can take in a classical music, dance, or opera performance. For a decadent shopping experience, you can walk 1 block to the arched arcade Galeries Royales St. Hubert, with its renowned chocolate boutiques.

Cloister garden oasis

You can start with breakfast in the Grand Lounge or lunch in the courtyard garden, and later perhaps cocktails and live music at the Lounge Bar. The boxing room and fitness center let you work off some steam, or you can simply sweat it out in the Finnish sauna and Turkish bath.

Free WiFi, Nespresso®

From deluxe rooms to studio apartments, all options are designed with modern decor and artwork, and there are slippers and bathrobes to unwind in. You can brew a fresh cup of coffee in the Nespresso® machine, watch a movie on the flat-panel TV, or surf the Web via free WiFi.

Nice quiet spot
Quiet spot in a lively area. Comfortable room. I did not like the dark decor and low light conditions but others might say it’s chic. Clean, well furnished and appointed. Near central train station and old town area.
