More of a 3.5 star hotel..
Recently traveled here on New Years, the hotel lobby is very modern. Sleek boutique feel the second you arrive. This is a SPG hotel but they do not recognize your status, so no perks. You only get the points and the stays. The rooms, standard room is around 250 square ft, quite small, reminds me of hotels in Hong Kong. Rooms are modern, the only downside is there is no real desk if you need to do some working. The only desk that is there is 80% occupied by the coffee machine and water boiler. (Good selection of tea and coffee btw) All the towels in the room are very thin (hence my title). The bed is not that comfortable, and the pillows are a miss. All of those are personal and can be considered nick picking, but the biggest downside to my stay was the room insulation. I could hear people sneezing, coughing from both sides and from upstairs. They definitely should improve the sound insulation. When you go on vacation the most important part is being about to get a good peaceful sleep! That didn’t happen unfortunately at this hotel. (Our room was 223, avoid this room if possible) I can’t recommend this hotel, for $30 more I’ll try the Marriott next time where they will recognize my status and hopefully have better insulated rooms.

Nice quiet spot
Quiet spot in a lively area. Comfortable room. I did not like the dark decor and low light conditions but others might say it’s chic. Clean, well furnished and appointed. Near central train station and old town area.
