Save your money and book with the hotel directly!
The room needs an update. It is on a floor that does not at all feel like Ala Moana, and the room solidified that it is NOT an Ala Moana Hotel stay. You can tell the cleaning service was rushed and not up to par with the hotel cleaning as this owner uses a contracted company to clean (I'm assuming). Streak marks on reflective surfaces were present, residue from cleaning materials or spilled liquid on the mini fridge door, crumbs on the carpet in front of the dresser, and an alarm clock that was not plugged in at all helped to make this experience feel bootleg.The microwave looks like it was made at least 10 years ago. The price of cleaning was included in the booking, so I expected a clean room and did not get one. Stains are present on the wall and you can see that the toilet was recently replaced, but no effort to adjust the flooring to make it less evident. Changes to the booking are also impossible, which is another reason why I would never book this room or with LSI again.
Residue on the fridge made it feel like the room was not cleaned after last booking.
Stains and crumbs were present on the carpet.
You can see where the toilet was swapped out.
This microwave seems like it was made before Y2K. I can't remember the last time I saw a microwave with a knob.

All the extra costs...
I was not happy with the fact I had to pay for service or anything I wanted with the room as an extra amenity. I could have booked directly with the property and stayed with the same hotel at the same rate and received all the amenities with no extra cost. I will not be booking with LSI Resorts again.

The property and staff at Ala Moana were great and I will definitelybe back. The booking company LSI (Luxury Suites International), specifically JoJo was terrible! I can not say enough about how awful she was and my experiences with LSI. I will NEVER do business with that company again! After reading other reviews on LSI, I see I am not alone.

The hotel common areas were beautiful. Staff were friendly. Proximity to dinning, shopping, beach, etc. is excellent!!! All the cons had to do with the room itself. Very small, did not get the bed option I selected, furnishing was ok, bathroom faucet leaked, drain was slow, need more ventilation in bathroom — moisture rusting stuff, door was difficult to close. Just all around not a great room. Definitely will stay at hotel again, but will book through hotel website. Don’t want to risk getting an independent unit again.
