Shabby but not chic.
The lobby is beautiful and the woman at the front desk was very personable. The rest of the place, however, was very shabby. In one hallway you could trip over the carpet where it had stretched out and bunched up. And the carpet was DIRTY. There was actually a wet spot in our room. The only upholstered chair in the room had that white ring that you get around a wet spot after in dries up. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was nice. But the mattress sits on what looks like a box spring - that is 20 years old. Not only were they dirty, one had holes in it. But, the bathroom was beautiful and looked like it had been recently remodeled. Shabby was the only word we could come up with to describe the hotel. Oh, and when I asked for ice I was told that I had to go to the bar, where they could only give me two pint glasses with some ice in them because they have to ice buckets. And there is no microwave or fridge.

Bye Bye Fitzgerald...
This was our last stay before we went home. I don't know if we were too tired when we arrived after being all around the beautiful Ireland or the lady at the front desk didn't have a good day, but we didn't feel welcome. I selected this hotel because it mentioned that they had shuttle to the airport, thinking that we could return the rental car before we leave and save some time before we leave, but the she said the was not included in the service and if we wanted so, we needed to let them know in advance (kind of rude). When we were at the room, they forgot to clean the trash can and the bathroom had some mold-dew. Oh well, it was the last night and after a 2 beautiful weeks we didn't want to make this a big thing to spoil it. We kept the rental, we ate outside and even though we got the last room in the corridor, facing the entrance of the hotel, and hearing every noise from the outside we slept like a baby...ready to go home...

Terrible!
This hotel was probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I truly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The bed was rock solid. The room was filthy. The furniture was old and greatly worn out. I'm happy we only stayed the one night.

Nice hotel, but far from everything
I enjoyed my room; it was clean and spacious. The location was quite inconvenient though. It was a long walk to tram and bus stations, and despite what the website says, there is not an airport pick-up available (at least, there wasn't one for me). The wi-fi was good. I didn't get the breakfast because it was very expensive. Overall, I think this hotel would only be a good choice for visitors who have their own car.
