Exceptional 10.0
I always stay at this hotel because it’s close to everything. It’s also near good restaurants.

Colonial charm on a popular square
Charming and unique town that is worth a visit. The hotel has beautiful public rooms and our room was spacious. It’s a bit noisy at night as it is right on a popular square.

This hotel is in a great location, but is outdated. The rooms are comfortable, but the elevator use is reserved for people with disabilities, which can be an issue if you're on the 2nd or 3rd floor, especially when carrying heavy luggage. Overall a good choice given the location and staff. Not fancy, but great location.

Great Place! Incredible location!
Perfect Location.. great history and decor. I think because they are in such a great location, maybe they forget or get away without going the extra mile.. nothing bad, I’ve just had way better service at other hotels. I hope that makes sense. if the service was a little better, This could be a solid 4 star hotel.. maybe they are tired, or over worked..again.. no bad incidents, I just wish they showed us hospitality and some love!!

Good 6.0
Great locaction right on the main square. The room itself was large, clean, but a bit old fashioned. We didn't like the small bathroom with the sink outside. The restauarnt was pretty good as well but they tried to charge us for a bottle of mezcal that we had never ordered when we had our dinner there. You need to watch your bill closely. The pillows on the bed are also super soft.. way too soft for me. The Wifi worked terrible. It was contiually dropping out. The only English station on the TV is also FOX news. The service at the front desk though was great. They got us several taxis , helped us with the luggage up and down the stairs (since there is no elevator), and gave us a lot of tourist guidance. They spoke perfect English. All in all I would say that it was fair to good. If I went back though I think I would try the Hotel Boutique 1850 which is located on the same square and looked quite a bit nicer (it also has a Starbucks inside it).
