Hotel Be Manos BW Premier Collection, Brussels

The hotel is very modern and up to date. The breakfast was great with many options. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The hotel has a black and white theme. WI-FI was not very strong in our room because of concrete walls but that's expected as the signals can't transfer. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who will stay in Brussels. It is walkable from the Brussels Central train station as well as to the Brussels central where it's about 20 min walk.

This is not a family friendly hotel, I don’t have any kids, don’t book this hotel, they have suggestive photos all over the property. The hotel is easy to find and about a 10 minute walk from the train station. It’s about 20 to 30 minute walk to city center. When we stayed the hotel restaurant was not functioning due to a local law but they did have room service available and breakfast was included. I would not consider this hotel a 4 star hotel, but it was slow season and they might have been updating and fixing it, but it does show it’s age. The room was big and clean, the bed was very comfortable but far away from the small TV to actually enjoy it. The bathroom was big and clean and had slippers for you to use.

Free shuttle to and from the station is great. If I hadn’t have had a medical need it would have been a pleasant enough stroll. Very friendly, professional & helpful staff. Lovely design throughout the hotel. Really interesting throughout. There was always something to look at. Would definately say this is more of a couple/adult hotel as some of the artwork around is quite “eye opening”. Drinks and food was a bit on the expensive side but I guess to be expected in a city hotel. Would recommend it. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was nice enough. Very peaceful stay in a nice atmosphere.

It was a good choice, being close to Gate du Midi for returning home on Eurostar. A walk into town though and maybe not the greatest area on the way, but the couple of bars directly outside the hotel were good. The room was very chic and comfortable with air conditioning. Huge comfy bed and a kettle was provided as requested beforehand. My major quibble was the wall between the bedroom and bathroom (which had a bath) which was made of smoked glass with with a sliding door and looked absolutely wonderful. However the smoked glass, black carpet and black floor did cause us to both walk into the glass panel on more than one occasion. Ouch! Nevertheless, a minor quibble and it looked great.

Made the pilgrimage to visit Cantillon brewery, and Be Manos was a perfect fit for the occasion. Well kept, spacious and very friendly. Would be great to return with a group, but I found it very nice to travel there even by myself. I’ve seen some concerns about area safety but as a San Francisco native I can say that your typical city awareness applies. Most days I was here the area was bustling with families and people in the plaza, I felt as safe as I do walking around downtown back in the Bay Area. I highly recommend Be Manos for the space, price and service, it’s actually better to Uber out of the touristy areas and relax here when you’re done.
