When we checked in to the first resort, there was black mold all over the front door, stains all over the rugs, bugs all over the floors, all the tables and dressers were damaged, the 2 beds in one of the rooms were broken. When we contacted the hotel, noone was in the office (at 6pm) to help us, so we were on the phone for about a half hour. They were giving us another resort just for the night, until we were able to speak to someone in the morning and possibly switch again. As they were gathering all the information for the new resort, they realized that that resort had a leak in it so they gave us another one. The 3rd resort was 20 min away from the original resort, in the opposite direction of where we needed to be (we are in SC for my son's wedding). When we arrived at the 3rd resort, the whole place smelled like must. The shower handels (hot and cold) did not work right. There was a hole in the bathroom behind the door knob. There was no towels, paper towels, toilet paper, sponges, shampoo and soap, or dish soap. There was hair all over the floor in the bathroom. There was dripping somewhere under the sink in the kitchen. When we went to check out (at the original resort 20 min away), everyone was putting the blame on everyone else. They didnt compensate anything. In fact, they charged me an extra $167 for fees and taxes that they claimed weren't charged.
