Older hotel. Central location. Friendly staff.
This is an older, boutique hotel bustling with old-world Italian charm. It housed one of Rome's oldest cage elevators! The room furnishings were spartan but adequate; the mattress wasn't the most comfortable. Also, WiFi signal in the room was not the strongest and interfered with working remotely on your laptop. WiFi router was installed in the ceiling in the hotel hallway. It was an unreliable and weak signal most of the time we needed it. The location in Monti was central to many of Rome's tourist destinations. It was easy walking to Piazza Bernini in 20-30 minutes. At night, we easily found many outdoor cafes and much bustling nightlife with a 20s-30s young and hip local crowd. The older hotel made up with extremely warm, friendly, and accommodating staff. Plus, the free continental breakfast with personally made capuccino each morning was a great offering. It was a great way to start our vacation each morning. Overall, this was a good value.

Exceptional 10.0
It was a little difficult to use the metropolitana because Repubblica was closed for repairs. But Cavour want a bad alternative. Breakfast was nicely done. I was over the top happy with the terrace with my room. Room 108.

Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff. Beds a bit uncomfy, rooms slightly chilly. Heater noisy. Super clean and roomy, bathroom good, water pressure good.

Another excellent stay at this great little hotel! We have stayed at this hotel several times and the service, quality, cleanliness, and hospitality was just as wonderful :) It is a small family-run hotel situated in neighborhood very near colosseum. Our room was spacious, nicely appointed, extremely clean and comfortable and it also had a terrace. Bathroom had nice tile work and a large step-in shower. Good towels were provided along with toiletries. Light breakfast buffet is provided along with made-to-order coffees in a very pleasant outdoor breakfast room situated in the courtyard. The staff was nice - especially Mimmo at the front desk - he is always very pleasant and helpful and always with a friendly smile! We thank you Mimmo and all of you at Hotel Artorius. We hope to be back again! Thank you!

European vacation
The hotel is located in a not so nice area, but felt safe even at night due to the very nice local restaurants serving customers late into the evening. It is small but very clean and service is friendly and extremely efficient. I felt secure staying in the hotel due to double secure doors throughout the hotel. The breakfast is pretty simple, common for Europe, but they have nice touches such as serving you cappuccino decorated with a dusted cinnamon flower. The garden where breakfast is served is quaint with grape vines, heavy with grape clusters, covering the canvas shade. The bedrooms are small by U.S. standards, but has old world charm, modern amenities, and is clean! I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel due to its price, clean accommodations, and friendly staff.
