Run from this place
This was by far, the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. And I have stayed at some bad places during my time. A nice old broken fridge. Next would be the coffee that someone splattered on the wall near the coffee machine. But that was not the really bad part. Black mold in the bathroom. Yes, black mold, the type that you should run from. Like green mold and algae? Then just walk over to the ice maker. It was covered. And they wanted a quarter to buy the ice. I have no idea what color the ice would have been. Even the cleaning supplies for the room are stored in a small closet with shovels, dirt, and other outside things. It had never been cleaned in years. The A/C was as noisy as I ever heard. Lucky it did not cool the room because they did not believe in blankets. Guess they molded years ago and got thrown out. Even the bar of soap had been melted on to the wrapper so that when you open it, the red lettering stayed on the soap. So now you get up in the morning and walk over to the office and get a cup of coffee. Hope you don't want creamer because they use powdered creamer that must have been years old. The container was covered in creamer gunk. The spout was last cleaned in the time of the battle of Gettysburg. Nobody would go near this stuff. Giving this place a 1 is giving it a score to high. Ownership just did not care about anything in regard to the rooms.

The hotel is very old fashioned. The room was extremely clean. Front desk person was very nice.

Are your shots up to date?
I wish that the Days Inn had been available. At $100 a night you would expect more than the $67 Days Inn less than a mile away. This was not the case. There was a very large toe nail by the fridge and hair on all over the bedspread. Towels and sheets were stained, it was as if the idea of bleach was foreign to them. The walls didn't stop much noise, and it doesn't do much good to have non-smoking rooms if your neighbors can smoke right outside your room. Also, it is a motel. The name is very deceiving as word “inn” paints an entirely different picture in my mind. If you are on a budget there are cheaper better options. Now if you will excuse me, I need to get a tetanus booster.

It met my limited needs.
"Old School" tourist trap roadside motel. Price was right, very close to my event destination. Just needed a bed, a shower, AC and a TV for college football after the days event. Wouldn't recommend for a family vacation or anything like that. You get what you pay for!
