Too much money for an outdated room. They also charged $15 to park there. Ridiculous.
I was first disappointed by having to pay $15 per night to park, which I've never done…

Room VERY dated, in poor repair, cords draped from outlets to TV/lamps (hazard for young children), bed and pillows very uncomfortable
The front office staff was very rude. We were not pleased that parking is not included in the over $400 we paid for two nights. Besides the parking, the room was disappointing. Not as clean as it should have been and very musty. The pool was nice and clean and a very good size. The location to the boardwalk was nice.
Not worth the money. They don’t provide parking or beach tags unless you book directly. Some of the staff was nice. Some not so much. But THEY DO NOT provide housekeeping. Saying it’s COVID but it’s an excuse to be cheap and dirty.
The Forum is in a great location, only about 2 blocks from the boardwalk & beach. Right across the street from a great breakfast spot. The room was clean overall & I liked the wooden floors. I didn’t like how the sink was outside of the bathroom & the size of the bath towels were pretty small - like half the size of a normal bath towel. Also the walls must be pretty thin bc we could hear our neighbors come in around 12:30 in the morning. We could hear their whole conversation which woke us up. Our TV turned on but there were no channels; the guy at the front desk came up to our room to try to fix it but couldn’t. The Forum probably should’ve gave us a discount at that point but didn’t.
I paid for a room that sleeps 5, it only had 2 double beds. I also paid for a kitchen all it had was a microwave & a mini fridge. I was told they provide 2 beach passes, that was a lie. And even thou it was out of their hands the electric was out for most of the first night
Hotel room is old and dirty and needs to be renovated. For almost 3 something a night you have to pay for parking
Location is good - didn’t like we were charged $15 a day for parking in their private lot because we booked through Expedia.
Very clean and the staff was very friendly!
We found everything to be up to our expectations, very good location to the boardwalk, The hotel was Kitschy feel like retro or old Vegas feel. It has not been up dated in a while but it is clean and I found it to have a cool vibe.I would definitely go back.
I’ve booked through 3rd party agents usually every time I go to OC. This was the first place that didn’t include parking or beach tags because they said since I booked through a third party they didn’t allow that. Also for $25 you could check in early. I found out the night before that no one was in our room. It’s not very busy there right now, because of the pandemic, so I was a little disappointed when they charged me the fee and they really didn’t have to. They don’t go out of there way for you really at all. The rooms are ok~not enough outlets. The location is great!
