Just about deplorable
Check into a business suite. Bed side lights don’t work, called down they came up but knew nothing. Light was broken & they don’t have an electrician. Called 4 room service, they forget the glass of wine & ketchup, NAPKINS and a spoon 4 my soup. They come up but still forget napkins & spoon . I called 3x it rings then goes to busy signal. We used toilet paper 4 napkins (fish & chips, fries). That’s deplorable. At restaurant I had a plate w/different seafood incl 2 oysters with a special sauce. I got the oysters but no sauce, Why? Because they only make the sauce if u have 4 oysters. 4x they burst in our room w/out knocking or ringing the doorbell which we had. They bring us champagne glasses and ice w/ out the champagne. They come back, they don’t knock and take away the glasses and ice. They have a piece of crap for a TV, the remote hardly works. We cant get rid of the closed captioning, volume doesn’t work and we can’t turn it off. They come up, they look and say they can’t fix it. We’ll bring u another TV tomorrow. Never got a new TV, never fixed (2 nights). The shower door doesn’t close well, the rubber piece has mostly peeled off, water is everywhere. No water pressure,.There’s more...I tell them at check out that they shouldn’t give anyone the so called suite until they fix it. They don’t charge us for room service and they pay 4 our parking, only thing is the card they gave us to pay with doesn’t work!!! It took a freaking hour for them to figure it out. Try a B&B, don

A bad experience
A very disappointing experience. We chose the Savoy Hotel because of its' reputation. However, the service was very mediocre and the room we were given was nothing that you would expect from a reputable hotel chain. I have travelled to over 12 countries this year and I have had some wonderful experiences at different hotels. The Savoy in Limerick looks good in the foyer, but the rooms are small and very basically decorated. The front desk was of little help when we needed medical assistance which was very frustrating being new to the city. We ordered room service after a three hour drive and were again let down by the quality of the food. The food was cold and inedible, and the dessert was completely melted on the plate. We emailed the hotel with photos and complaints but received nothing back from them. Wifi was so slow that the internet barely loaded any pages! I would suggest visitors to Limerick, choose another hotel if you are looking for a comfortable experience.

Watch out for the bait-and-switch here. Booked several months in advance on and upon arrival there was a "issue" with my room. Unfortunately... they were all sold out but they made arrangements on my behalf and put me up in the Clayton down the road. The two hotels don't even compare, much different class. They sold my room thru to someone who probably paid double price for a day of booking directly thru the hotel-no splitting the cost with the online travel site. This happened at another hotel as well during our trip. At least the other hotel had the decency to call me a few hours before I checked in. Manager lied right to my face...Buyers Beware
