Whitewater Inn, Big Sky
Poor2.0
Horrible
The only good thing about this hotel is at least it didn't have bedbugs. The walls were paper thin. You can hear everything that's being said by the people in every room connected to yours. Bonus to this is the fact that this dive is used by foreign tour buses. So you get the extra fun of listening to people being loud and obnoxious in other languages. Don't forget tour buses need to leave by 7/8am so the noise starts right around 5am. The floors and chairs in the room were filthy and stained. It looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed at all over the summer. There was plastic silverware under the bed and other things that were better not to examine too closely. The wall paint was chipped and cracked, the tub stained grey. Two of the pillows hadn't been washed in god knows when and absolutely reeked of patchouli oil. The bedding had to have been some kind of recycled plastic because it was like laying on garbage bags. The hallway reeked of chemicals. I'm assuming it was their pool area but it didn't smell like chlorine. So it's anyone's guess what it was. We couldn't leave because they'd already charged for the room before we got there but even if we had, there was no where left to stay that wasn't already booked up. Avoid at all costs. Head to Bozeman, it's worth the extra drive time.

Hotel was fine for us. We stayed 2 nights before a backpacking trip in Yellowstone. The room was clean and comfortable. The 'continental breakfast' was pretty minimal. One day there were boiled eggs. The next day there weren't. Fine for the price and very convenient location.

Thanks!
Our stay was too short! We were on our way to SLC and only got to sleep and have breakfast here, but we were very pleased. The pool area looked fantastic and we plan to come back and stay longer next year. Front desk staff very helpful.
