Hungry & Harried, Helped by Hotel Staff
The front desk employees were VERY helpful. We arrived from Bolzano, exhausted and a bit stressed because of the strike going on with the taxi cab drivers. We had to find a bus that stopped near the Amadeus Hotel and we actually arrived a bit earlier than the hotels check in policy stated. The staff checked and found us a room where we rested for several hours. As a result of this, we woke up at around 4 pm and restaurants were closed. The staff on duty was kind enough to direct us to several places in the area for a quick bite. This was at the end of a two week trip in Italy where we traveled by train and stayed in 5 different hotels so the extra effort by the Amadeus staff was so welcome and reduced our stress quite a bit.

Bed bugs!
My husband and I stayed here because of its proximity to The airport as we had an early morning flight back home. I am sure this hotel was nice a few decades ago: now, it is in need of a remodel or at least a good cleaning. The room was spacious but dark and hot (hotel doesn’t turn A/C on before May. We couldn’t rest well at this place. The bed was hot and with a thin hard mattress. After the first night, we were itchy and had a couple of bug bites that we thought we were mosquitos, but after the second night, it was evident that there were bed bugs in the room. When we checked out before 5am, we felt as if our skin was on fire and had many bites on our arms, legs and hips. We told and showed the clerk, but he showed neither interest nor empathy and just wrote the email address to the hotel administration for us if we “wanted to complain.” I sent an email from airport, and 6 days later I have not received any reply or even inquiry of how we are feeling. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I’m pretty sure there must be other hotels that are close to the airport and. Are clean.

Beautiful hotel with its own parking garage, great service at an exceptional price. Breakfast was great and the hotel is in an excellent location.

Great hotel stay near the airport.
We were flying out of Bologna early am, so just needed a clean hotel stay overnight. We asked for a quiet room, and were given one facing the garden...very quiet, spacious. There is a fabulous restaurant attached to the hotel, so we didn't need to walk anywhere to find dinner. We left too early for breakfast, but were given a 'to go' breakfast; and the front desk person made us a cappuccino. Front desk staff very pleasant and helpful. Just a 4-machine work-out room, but OK. Would recommend the hotel. Note: we took the train from Venice to Bologna Central. Thanks to the wonderful response from the staff, they provided us information on how to take another train or bus 87 from Central to very near their hotel. We opted for the train as It was faster (10 minutes); however, the walk to the hotel was more than 10 minutes, and just a platform drop. Thankfully there was one other person to ask 'how to get to the main street and the hotel' (up a metal stair way down from the station platform, then a 10+ minute walk). Maybe opt for bus 87 which drops you less than a block from the hotel :)

I don't know but...
One night stay, but the room was disabled equipt, the bathroom was set up for wheelchair access. The shower doors were inches off line so the floor flooded and the drain cap was broken. leading to a small scar on my right foot. Oh yeah, the toilet wouldn't flush stuff down...
