Comfortable stay and the price is right
Make no mistake, this is not a first class hotel. It is what it is. But I was there while it was snowing, and my room was warm and dry. The wi-fi was free and fast. The shower was hot and strong. So apart from creaky floorboards, the room I had was just what I needed at the price. My dad actually booked a differently priced room, and his was more modern with a river view. Great Thai restaurant walking distance, and of course Boulter's Lock is across the road. Can't fault the area at all, for quietness and safety. The hotel's Trevi Italian restaurant is good, and the Hotel has a bar that's open until 1am. Staff are very friendly and courteous. Ample off-road parking. Town center is a good 20-min walk. For some reason cleaning staff never replenished soap/shampoo, but desk had plenty.

A little Gem by the Thames
I just love this hotel it is quirky, the staff are lovely, there are always unusual people staying here. It has a touch of faulty towers but only the good bits. The food is all home cooked and I just love being able to watch the boats and people from the terrace or walking down to boulters lock watching the boats going through the lock. I like the big chains but it is refreshing to come here as well. It is good value for money as breakfast is included in the price and there is a secure car park

Very satisfying stay in front of the Thames
I stayed at an executive room on the 1st floor (2nd floor in American sense). It was facing the Thames and the view was superb with the nice balcony (both TS1 and TS3 have the balcony). The room was a little cold and I couldn't control the temperature, but I could enjoy taking hot bath and such that there was no problem for me. I had a pint of lager and a plate of fish and chips at the bar on the ground floor, and they were both pretty tasty. I wasn't aware of the fact that there is another restaurant across the hall, but it appeared to be another interesting venue. In the morning I needed to depart before the breakfast was served, but the hotel's gentleman kindly let me enter there before the restaurant was open. So I could quickly enjoy a cup of coffee and yogurt while waiting for my taxi. Overall my stay was very enjoyable and lovely. And the room was quite spacious and well appointed!

Good basic hotel
A nice basic hotel. A few things that need some attention like the shower has almost zero pressure and the room was a little cold. But the good out weighed the bad, the staff all very friendly and extremely helpful, perfect service from everyone. The included buffet breakfast was very nice. Good full English and as much as u like. Good extras like cereals and fruits. For the price and as long as u just looking for a place to rest your head and get a good breakfast and be out all day and evening then this is good.
