About First Hotel Norrtull, Stockholm

Historic hotel with free breakfast in Vasastaden district

Steps to the metro

An airport shuttle stops directly outside the budget-friendly First Hotel Norrtull in Vasastaden. Sankt Eriksplan Metro Station, on the Green Line, is a 12-minute walk away, or you can hit up one of the restaurants, bars, and shops in the neighborhood.

South of Haga Park

Haga Park is an expansive green space north of the hotel, featuring royal palaces, a museum, and a butterfly house. Architecture and history buffs can marvel at the Haga Echo Temple, an 18th-century royal summer dining room.

National Heritage hotel

Though many of the original fixtures are still in place in this Swedish National Heritage building, the interior design feels chic and modern. You have free breakfast and try the à la carte menu at Brasseri Norrtull Restaurant, and unwind with a cold beer at the lobby bar.

Street or garden views

The hotel's 126 guestrooms feature free WiFi, though you might opt to unplug and take advantage of the street and garden views instead. Most rooms include comfortable work desks and armchairs.

Mediocre
Check-in real quick. Got to my room - hadn't been cleaned. Dragged my luggage back down to reception and was given a new room. A superior room as they called it. Huge, but same standard in furniture etc as the regular rooms. Lights didn't work in entryway nor in walk-in closet. Bathroom was nice and spacious. A long room. But floor tilted wrong way so when showering, water ran all the way to the otjer side. Making the whole bathroom floor wet. An issue they clearly know about as there was a "water scraper" hanging by the shower. Disappointed as i arrived by 7pm and was hungry, only to find out the restaurant wasn't open that day

Ok for a 3star hotel
Clean big rooms at minimum level; 3 hangers, to minibar, no coming home feeling! If you just need a bed to sleep go for it! If you look for some luxury look further.
