Poor
Inflexible and far from airport
I had left a good review about this hotel as we stayed there for 2 days. we had to come back a week later for 1 night as we were transiting through Quito to the US. We had not realized the hotel is 1h 30 min from the airport. As we were arriving 8 pm and flying out the next morning at 8 am (need to be at airport at 6 am)....i asked the manager to make an exception and charge us a 50% penalty to cancel the rooms so we don't have to track the whole family from the airport and back within such a short span. Although i understand we had booked a non-refundable rate and the hotel was under no obligation to compromise but the manger Alonzo could not care less and did not even answer my email explaining the situation. This is disappointing as he could have either charged us a significant penalty or at least communicate with us. In short, upper management is very inflexible.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE
Excellent hotel. In the middle of everything in the heart of the old city. There was a mix up with our room when we arrived but Alexander the manager intervened and gave us the presidential suite at no extra charge which allowed our kids to have an extra bed in their room. The customer service level was outstanding, I'd rate this hotel as 5 stars all around!

Excellent service!!
The hotel was very nice, but the service we experienced was incredible! Any issue we had they were there immediately to fix it. They gave us additional waters when we ran out and the store was closed, they made sure the water was hot enough for my bath, they were right there for anything we needed. I have never experienced such excellent service!! The location was great too being right next to the main square. The breakfast was very good and they even made sure my eggs were prepared the way I like them! Overall we loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
