Wonderful stay
Awesome location within walking distance from metro. Big thanks to Jack and his team. Super friendly host who really cares about his visitors. I’ll be happy to come back again.

Fantastically located bed and breakfast. Owner couldn't be more caring. He prepared morning breakfasts for all guests. Met many interesting fellow travelers.

Great BnB
Much cozier than a big chain hotel... came in late and the key was just waiting for us. Great breakfast.

Cherry On Top
From my arrival just after midnight to my departure days later, the friendliness, cleanliness and tastiness were more than I could have hoped for. Jack, the innkeeper, was there every morning to converse with the adventurous and eclectic blend of guests who ventured downstairs to the well appointed first floor common areas for breakfast. Replete with just a few typical tourist pamphlets, appropriate art and well preserved period architecture, the rooms and accommodations were clean and comfortable. The “3 L” register scored a 10 on all fronts :) with the National Zoo literally around the corner and quick access in or out of the city via Metro or vehicle. Cherry on top? The freshly made chocolate chip cookie plate and carafe of red wine that greeted late night returning guests. I will return, as I found out many world travelers have, but was sorry to hear that the innkeeper had sold the property and was moving on to bigger ventures. For nearly a decade, it appears that Jack had been the spirit of the house and I can only hope the new owners read his book... Still highly recommended.
