About Novum Hotel City B Berlin Centrum, Berlin

Comfortable hotel with free WiFi near Potsdamer Platz

A hop to Potsdamer Platz

Novum Business Hotel City B Berlin Centrum is 3 U-Bahn stops from Potsdamer Platz - Bülowstrasse Station is right across the street. In 15 minutes you can walk to Berlin's most talked about urban renewal project Gleisdreieck Park, and a 15-minute walk places you at Landwehrkanal.

Hidden art galleries

The once run-down Potsdamer Strasse has become Berlin's most significant gallery district in recent years. If you decide to go on an art stroll, make sure to peek into what look like normal apartment buildings; that's where you'll find gems like BlainSouthern and Tanya Leighton.

Parking close at hand

The hotel's continental buffet breakfast is served in the lobby lounge. If you can't find a space at the onsite parking garage, you can use another 2 minutes away at a sister hotel - 24-hour reception staff will point you in the right direction.

Free WiFi, flat-screen TV

Simple, basic rooms feature large, soundproofed windows that let in the daylight, but keep out the noise from the street below. All rooms have free WiFi, flat-screen TVs with cable channels, and desks, and hypoallergenic bedding is available on request.

A two foot high shower platform. BRING LADDER
The web site states SERVICE ANIMALS. I am handicapped and have an EU Certified Service Dog, three medical letters, and the US Govt Certifiation and training records. The hotel front desk stated that my Service dog was a PET and this was not allowed. They create a fuss and were not trained correctly. WE did say. SADLY they put is in a HANDCIAPPED ROOM which has a shower that requires you to sit on the floor and crawl in to, as it it is SO HIGH OF A STEP that even a non mobility handciapped person could not enter it. Such a bizarre thoughtlessle managed hotel on the 27 day of a 29 day trip in Europe with hotels now in 9 other countries and cities.

Good location
Plenty of restaurants nearby, across the street from a train station. If parking a car, free spots can be found a few blocks away.

Beware of Charges
The stay was for a family reunion in Berlin, booked a family room for four (4) family members and I would arrive first on the 21st of May; since my flight was from overseas, I arrived early in the morning , I knew I had to wait for the check in until at least 14:00, Front desk Lana was most accommodating and she allowed me to store my bags at the hotel - I proceeded to have breakfast an paid the Euro 12.90 for the service. Walked around town to kill sometime and upon my return my room was ready. All perfect. Following morning , I had breakfast again and paid separate the Euro 12.90 - because the remaining family members would arrive late in the afternoon and wanted to keep separate expenses from them. On the 23rd all family members were together and had breakfast together for the following six days; On the evening of the 27th - I went to reception to pay for all breakfast for the four people and since I was leaving the following morning with one of the family members, I wanted to pay the balance and leave paid the two breakfast for my mom and partner on the 29th.; when my mom left on the morning of the 29th - the front desk advised her that she had a Euro 75.00 balance definitely not a good record keeping - I even gave her a copy with the statement showing the full amount was paid, so that she would have proof that everything was taking care off. After an hour, she mentioned that the issue was resolved- but that leaves me a bit disappointed on the poor record keeping .
