Nice but far from downtown Toronto
The hotel was clean. It is actually a college residence and about 1 hour away from downtown Toronto. Luckily, there is a bus and subway station that connects you conveniently to Union Station located in downtown. The staff were very friendly. However, the bed sheets were only changed once in 3 days, and if you needed something such as towels, tissues, soap etc you had to come and pick it up yourself at the front desk.

We like staying here as you are getting a college dorm room with separate bedrooms and a kitchen area. It is centrally located with eateries nearby and many on site facilities.

Very difficult to find
It is very difficult to find the place at night. The GPS leaves you somewhere on the main road, whereas the way to get to the hotel is via the campus, which is under construction and has no street lights. The building itself also does not have any lights, so it's very difficult to see it. The name "Residence & Conference Centre" is also not in a visible place, unless you are in front of the building and the sun is shinning. All the building says is Seneca.

We were checking in and received a room that was old and the toilet was not flushing. Went down to the reception desk and they gave us another time. Apparently the hotel booked us twice on their part and gave us the second room that was booked under our name. Upon getting the second room , we were told this was a newly renovated room just three weeks old. If we were booked twice why was the newer room not given to us the first time? The stay was good and the room was very nice. We stayed three nights however and not once was the room cleaned. No maid came in to make our bed or give us clean towels which i dont understand why. It is a good thing we brought our own towels. The breakfast was very limited. The staff kept refilling on the go rather than having a large quantity out in the first place. The only thing they had was bread bagels and cereal to eat. Not much was offered.
