Very big room with pretty view
Our room was very large, with big bay windows that look out to the River Ness, and nice, period furnishing. The bathroom was also very spacious. It was a comfortable stay overall and the location was great. My only criticism is that the breakfast staff were brusque and seemed a bit dour.

This was her nicest hotel that we stayed at in our trip to Scotland the rooms were extremely comfortable and large and it was close to downtown and had a beautiful view of the river and I would recommend it highly it did have an expensive price tag

Glen Mohr Hotel
The hotel was in a great location and reception was always very friendly. The rooms were good, but older (maybe that varies based on the room booked) with cracked mirrors etc. The room was a decent size and beds were comfortable. The water in the shower were be a decent temperature and then go to scalding hot and then icy cold continually while in the shower. The biggest complaint we had was the service provided in the bar and restaurant. Our first night we went to eat at the time it opened 5pm, and they wouldn't seat us immediately, because they were still waiting for staff to arrive. The person there seemed very rushed and kept making a big deal about all the reservations they had, and we didn't have one. No one even recommended us making reservations. We saw this same cycle with everyone else from the hotel that came in to eat. He made a big deal about the tables and where everyone sat. We were there for two and no one with a reservation showed up in that time frame. In fact, only two other tables had been seated and they were both guests from the hotel. It seemed like we weren't really wanted there. We didn't go back to eat there after that. We did try the bar the following night and it was the same type of service. They didn't even want to serve us appetizer down there with our drinks. Overall it was an ok experience only due to the fact the people at reception were so nice, but definitely expected better service for the price we had to pay for the rooms.
