We didn’t end up staying here. They didn’t allow us to stay just for one night. It’s a two night minimum

Worn, Dirty, Safety concerns
This place is worn out. Bed was sagging. Furniture looked worn. Rather bleak room with a view of junky equipment and a dirty porch. Two ladies who were staying there when I was, had their passports stolen. Room door did not have an interior safety lock. Would not recommend for women traveling alone.

Very Good8.0
Over night stay
The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was one block to the streetcar, which was very convenient. The only downside was the mattress in the room we stayed in. I would stay here again if I traveled to the area.

Magnolia Mansion, New Orleans
This is an elegant old home in a good location on a map but the area on nearby St. Charles is sketchy with many homeless people seeking assistance on our way to & from restaurants & shops. Our room was okay-AC was awesome but the linens were not outstanding and the cube fridge provided didn’t even have a water or a juice. There was continental breakfast but coffee was nothing special and there was toast, bagels, cereal, & muffins but all quite ordinary. Staff was helpful & kind and allowed us to leave our bags and have lunch before our afternoon trip to the airport. Overall the stay was comfortable & satisfactory.
