Siummer Stay at Comfort Hotel, Luneburg
The hotel appeared to be rather out of the way on a back road. At first this was a little disconcerting but it really was not a problem! Rooms were clean and comfortable. There was no air conditioning. This appears to be common in Germany - that hotels do not have air conditioning. As an American, I am used to being able to turn on air conditioning when a hotel room becomes uncomfortably warm. I suspect that as an American, I will just have to adapt to the way things are done in Germany.

Good cheap hotel, with tasteful breakfast.
A little secluded, but all in all a great drop in hotel on the way through Germany on a motorcycle vacation. Very tastefull breakfast with pleasant staff. Recommended.

Comfort Inn Luneburg Germany
Hotel was okay. I think it was overpriced for the neighborhood. It is located just behind and industrial area. I noticed that it was used by many workers for an overnight stay enroute to a job.

In the middle of nowhere, poor facilities, in a very run down industrial area and buses only once an hour until 7.30pm so couldn't eat out in town without getting a 20 euro taxi back. There is one pub nearby which does pretty good food for cheap though, but that is the only option. Staff friendly and rooms clean and suitable for what I needed, just a very poor location.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt m. stimmiger Preis-Leistung!
Zweckmäßiger, sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in Lüneburg bzw. im direkt angrenzenden Ort Melbeck, wo sich das Hotel befindet. Bei meiner Bewertung möchte ich zuvor betonen, dass man nach meinem Dafürhalten ganz klar im Auge haben muss, dass es sich um ein sehr günstiges Angebot bzw. Hotel handelt. Und im Rahmen diesen günstigen Preises muss man dann auch den gebotenen Gegenwert beurteilen. Und daher bekommt die Unterkunft von mir auch "die volle Punktzahl", denn für die von mir bezahlten 65,- inkl. Frühstück bekommt man wirklich sehr freundliches Mitarbeiter, ein für den Preis wirklich gutes Frühstück, jedes Zimmer hat einen eigenen Eingang (ebenerdig!) und das Auto kann man wirklich direkt davor parken. Zweckmäßiges Zimmer, aber ordentliche Matratze, 2 Kissen, 1 Fl. kostenloses 0,7er Mineralwasser, Kaffee mit Wasserkocher, Nähset usw., also alles angenehme Kleinigkeiten die man für den Preis nicht unbedingt erwarten würde. Überraschend geräumiges Bad. Wer günstig einige Tage Lüneburg und Umgebung erkunden möchte oder dienstlich unterwegs ist und den Preis im Auge hat oder haben muss, dem sei das Comfort Hotel empfohlen!! Ich empfand das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis als absolut angemessen und ich würde wieder buchen.
