The Copley House was friendly, a bit packed in the office but the front desk was helpful with all my needs and questions. I even got help carrying my bag up the stairs. I was a bit nervous about the room at first, but everything was fine for the one night I stayed. I think I'd be okay with staying again.

Bed and breakfast Type stay
A home turned into a bed and breakfast without the breakfast, which is not bad because our room had a Kitchenette, which was ideal considering the hotel/home didn't serve breakfast. Excellent location in Boston! We found a local grocery store within walking distance and was able to save money by cooking breakfast in the hotel This was the first time in my life I shared a bath, but it was wonderful because it was clean and felt like living at home, with people you don't know :-) I would stay at this hotel/home again for sure! It was clean, quite and secure. Love having keys to our room instead of card!

Can’t beat the location. Quiet and clean.
Copley House is a a typical hotel. It is a cluster of apartments in brown stone buildings. When you check in, you will be told where your apartment is. They are all fairly close by. Ours happened to be next door. Our room is considered a premium room for 3 people. It is spacious and clean. There was a king bed and a queen size sofa bed. The king bed is very comfortable, pillows a bit firm for my husband’s liking, but I was fine with them. The sofa bed was good as far as sofa bed goes. It sloped towards the middle a bit but the mattress is actually a memory foam mattress and my teenage daughter said it was comfy and didn’t feel the bars. The kitchen and bathroom were small but adequate. Kitchen had a full size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, two stove burners, sink and coffee maker. As said, the apartment was in one of the brownstones, it is older, but clean. Rug could be cleaner. Location couldn’t be any better. Safe and quiet neighborhood. One and a half block from Prudential Center and T station. 5 minutes walk to Bolyston and Newburyport. 10 minutes walk to Northeastern Universiity. A little over a mile from Boston Common. Our only complaint was not WiFi was spotty and at time was nonexistent. It could be our specific unit. Will stay here again despite the WiFi issue.

I opted not to stay at the conference hotel associated with the convention center, and I am so glad I stayed in the neighborhood just across the street. Amazing location. Very friendly and helpful staff.
