not very well ran
we disappointed in the service in restaurant and bar and room cleaning left lot to be desired because shampoo and soap and towels not left each day and often room cleaned and things had to be brought to room in evening and we have knee problems and no elevator. We were not told that at check in.

Great night in Maui
My wife and I took a quick trip to Maui after spending time in Oahu. We arrived late and the team was very helpful. They upgraded our room to a villa. The price for our stay was reasonable and we enjoyed how close we were to the Ocean.

Great Inn on Kaanapali beach
Perfect location, on my favorite beach of Maui; a real advantage is you can benefit from all the amenities Royal Lahaina Resort (fitness center, pools, bar...) Room is nice, spacious and clean; With a small fridge, coffee machine, working AC, and a safe. Would have been great to have one microwave. Very kind personnel, great service and assistance, Liked the in-room dining, provided beach towels, grand parking lot (15$/day).

Perfect ocean view...rundown room
The service and view were out of this world! Unfortunately the room was pretty run down and was actually glad we only stayed one night. If they would renovate it, that hotel room could make a pretty penny every night because the view was stunning!!

Great resort grounds, small beds
The property itself is great, but the rooms are so-so. First, the good: This hotel is on the property of the Royal Lahaina and you have full access to the resort grounds. There are 3 pools and a jacuzzi, hula dancers at sunset, easy beach access and equipment rentals and in general other guests were very nice. Rooms were larger than most and each has a balcony. Also, our room faced directly into their Luau. This could be a con if you are trying to sleep/relax at 7-8 pm since it was pretty loud, but it was kind of cool to catch glimpses of the show. Not all rooms face that direction. Now the not so great: There are very few rooms with queen or king beds so be prepared to sleep in a full sized bed. Even if you’re a couple, even if you requested a room with a single bed. Of course there are two full beds in each room, so you can split up. Very romantic. Also, there is no elevator, so be prepared to take stairs to your room. Staff will carry your luggage upstairs for you. Fortunately it’s only 3 stories. The rooms look a little stuck in the 70s. It’s kind of quaint and I generally didn’t mind. Just something to be aware of. In the end, yes, I’d stay there again. For the price, it was worth it just to have access to the resort grounds.

Basic digs
A suitable older place. No frills but near all the Kaanapali things & on beach walk route. Could watch nightly luau from balcony if we had been there during evening hours. Included access to resort pools etc.

Nice place for the price
Big place and the main facility looks more attractive than the Amex we stayed in

Nice location, not so nice rooms
This place is way too expensive for how old and out of date it is. Our rooms also had a funky smell. The beach is beautiful here and the room was AC'ed which are the two positives.
