    Fabulous 8.8 From 300 reviews

    Very Good 8.0
Arrival at the hotel was about 40 minutes after leaving the airport. The check-in process was very quick and professional, and we were in our room within minutes of arrival. We booked a Suite for a bit more space, and certainly got that. Nice big room on the 9th floor directly under the roof top bar. Which was handy for Happy Hour drinks. The room had a large balcony with a private spa bath, and brilliant 180 degree views over the foreshore and ocean. It was perfect for watching the locals swimming from sunrise until around 8am when they headed off to work. Then they reappear late in the day for cool off swim after work. The only negatives about the room, was the tiny coffee/tea cups and the very poor quality bath towels, which were quite small and thin. Certainly not what you'd expect in a 5 star hotel, they were more like 2-3 star towels. The buffet breakfast was good, with a variety of Eastern and Western cuisines. So something for everyone. The pool was good, but could have been a bit bigger considering the size of the hotel. Banana lounges were excellent as were the umbrellas and service from the staff at the pool. The staff throughout the hotel were all very friendly and happy to help if you had a question or needed some help. Typical of Vietnamese people. All things considered, the hotel is pretty good and I'd stay there again, and would also recommend it to a friend as well.

Best Hotel / Spa for Couples on Vacation
Staying at the Sunrise was the highlight of our trip to Vietnam. We stayed in 8 hotels over the course of a two week trip, and the Sunrise was by far the best. Our experience began with a hurried phone call to Sunrise from the airport in Ho Chi Minh City. I had forgotten to arrange transportation, and had just discovered that Uber doesn't operate in Nha Trang. The concierge spoke English, and was able to arrange for an Airport pickup just 3 hours beforehand. When our plane landed, we were greeted by our concierge holding a sign with my name on it, and a driver waiting in a Mercedes van to take us to our hotel. Once we arrived, we learned that our room had been upgraded at no charge to a larger room with our king-sized bed facing a huge wide window overlooking the beach. Waking up on the first morning of our stay, it was easy to see why this is called the Sunrise Hotel. Seeing the sun rise over the ocean while laying in bed was absolutely breathtaking. The hallways of the hotel are lined with quality paintings from local artists that are available for purchase. It was awesome to see real art instead of the usual bland art that I'm used to seeing in hotels. The pool was ridiculously gorgeous and incredibly clean. It looked like something out of a music video. The bathroom was huge and was nicely equipped with a shower, a jacuzzi tub, generous amounts of shampoo, bath gel, conditioner, etc. There was even a shaving/makeup mirror on an adjustable arm.

    Poor 2.0
This hotel advertises promotions online but when asked im told that promotion has finished 3 months ago! When challenged they honoured it. This building's in serious need of modernisation. 5 star? Maybe in Vietnamese standards. damaged furniture, mould in the bathroom! Around £70 a night in a third world country in the middle of no where is a bit steep. The Room had a nice view, jacuzzi on the balcony, the a/c was poor and didn't cool the room. TV had only few channels. The noise from the street was terrible. At 5.50am public announcments and traffic noise. The pool was noisy with children.Breakfast had a good selection however the room only had ceiling fans and was just too hot. We needed to wait in the lobby at check out for your room to be checked. The web site states a private beach with life guards. It’s a public beach with 8 beds. Opened till 5.30pm, staff close it at 5pm. Life guards watched phones and not the swimmers. Again I asked to speak to a mgr about the beach and false advertising I was told there was none. As I was persistent, miraculously I managed to speak to a mgr who said that he was in his room off duty. The manager is obnoxious, has no customer service skills and was rude telling me that they would update the website tomorrow just for me. He acted like a child. Mr. Rauber General mgr don't bother replying, this is to warn potential guests. A manager should listen to feedback and accept the faults.Telling me he is busy and started at 5am is not my concern.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at. EVER.
Newcastle Australia - four nights at Nah Trang in July. My wife chose this hotel because it was pretty well centrally located and across the beach on the main esplanade. She chose well. Not many Australians or international tourist for that matter other than Russians, head to Nah Trang which is ashame, because it's another nice Vietnam City. A bit like the Australian Gold Coast. So my advice is to chose a nice hotel to base yourself. From the start, the staff were so accomodating and warm and friendly and this was on every level of service. On arrival, we were picked up by the hotel shuttle ($12 US) which is very reasonable. My wife chose a nice room, one with a spa on the balcony and much to our surpirse, we were upgraded again to a room that had a sauna in it. Yep a sauna. If you plan on going to this hotel, ask for room 1007. What ever the price, I would pay it. Great view and best room I've stayed in anywhere. And I'd like to think my wife and I are well travelled. Food at the hotel was great with great service whether at the pool or resturant. And very reasonable pricing. Beautiful pool area. In all, not much more you wouldn't want. I would definately stay again.

Great hotel, great facilties and friendly staff
This was a lovely hotel - just across the road from the beach. The road is quite busy with motorbikes, but the hotel staff help the uninitiated cross it! The room was spacious (we had a junior suite) with ample space for two friends in two beds. all mod cons were available, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic - choices of fresh fruit, Vietnamese, Chinese, western food. Try the ca phe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee - to die for. Our room had a sea view looking out over the pool. The only slightly negative (and it is slight) was that the room fridge did not go all that cold, but we were able to put the beers in a ice bucket. There is plenty to do in the local area - best just to wander around the town on foot and watch the locals. I particularly enjoyed the two local markets, but don't miss the PoNaGar temple - about 30 mins walk from the hotel. We also went to the I-Spa for a mudbath - that was great as well, and the friendly hotel staff booked our transfer. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I think it would have to be the best value in town for what we got, including the service. We also used the hotel transport to and from the airport, as the airport is a fair distance from town.
