Second time here and will come back!
Great location for visiting south Minneapolis...a very diverse neighborhood with excellent ethnic restaurants.

Trip for American Swedish Institute exhibition
My friend and I were pleasantly surprised to learn we had been booked on the "Preferred Customer" floor, which seemed more secure and included the unexpected amenities of complementary appetizers in the afternoon in the lounge directly across from our room. In addition, we enjoyed complementary cold beverages and coffee & tea whenever we wanted them. The free breakfast was also served in that lounge, so everything was wonderfully convenient. The beds/bedding were luxurious, and the entire setup of the room was just what we needed. We were VERY pleased with our stay.

My flight was delayed; I called from the airport to let the hotel know it would be late when I arrived. They said they would keep my room available. When I arrived they had given my room away and told me there was only one room, which had a king bed, left. This was a business trip for myself and a coworker. The (female) night desk clerk was very unhelpful.

    I'll pass on this one...
In town for a wedding June 8-10, 2018. Older hotel in need of updates, stains on carpet and furniture, dark decor. Pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Had 4th floor king room with club access, needed room key on elevator to get to 4th floor. Room was small with no refrigerator/microwave and lighting was poor. The public transit system station is right in front of the hotel. Apparently this is an older part of town. Also someone was smoking marijuana on the 3rd floor which radiated to the 4th floor and the smell was horrible! Only plus is they served Starbucks coffee.

Not the Sheraton Service I am Used To
Other reviews it needs an update. I don’t mind the older style furniture room is small and compact, but efficient. Carpet probably could use replacing, it was ripped in a few places. Definitely needs a power strip on the desk and bedside stand...I am here for work and had to plug my computer in 3 feet away from the desk. And nowhere to plug in my phone at night that was near the bed. Front desk staff are not exactly friendly. not mean, but did not make me feel welcomed. . Also, they have a program where if you don’t do daily housekeeping you get 500 SPG points. But they told me I didn’t qualify because I booked my room though a “third-party vendor“. I understand that they won’t give me any points for this stay, but the housekeeping is a completely different story and I feel that I should have received the points. They seemed very disgusted when they said “third-party vendor“ and they sent it to me when I checked in and when I asked about the points, and I heard them talking to somebody else about it in the lobby. If you don’t like people booking through, then maybe just don’t offer it! I stayed on the executive floor, and they had a nice little snacks in the evening. The staff up here was nice. Bed was comfy and the room was clean. Not enough light in the room (tons of small low-wattage lamps). Area surrounding was a little sketchy, but I felt ok going out by my self in the daylight (probably would not at night).
