Acapulco expensive flights cheap stay!
-Friendly Hotel staff -Coffee (iced/hot) in the lobby $35 pesos ($2 dollars) -Costera (main street) very safe spot, from Caleta (Beginning of Costera/Old Acapulco/Cliff divers/30 min away) to the airport is about 1 hr without traffic. -Not a walking distance from main spot for bars on the beach (casual) but can easily take a taxi and it's like 5-10 min. -BABY'O discotheque right in front of the hotel it's a little bit more exclusive but easy to get into if you are nicely dressed. -Towards the airport (Escenica Avenue) there are nicer nightclubs and next to those there are "after-hours" where you can stay up all night if you want to. -There is not walk-out directly to the beach, you have to get out of the hotel and down the street but it's very easy about 3-5 min walk. -Hotel breakfast hotel is great there is fruit, waffles, eggs, coffee, juices all for about $170 pesos (dollar exchange about $10) That's ridiculously cheap for such a huge buffet. -If there is something that this hotel is missing is just updated tv (idk if you have to ask for a tv remote in the reception or if it didn't come with one) and towels, you can smell that there are clean they just don't look it. -Beware if you get stuck in traffic it may take you double to get out of where you are so plan ahead specially if you are heading back to the airport.

Budget Trip to Acapulco
We came for vacation from Texas and overall enjoyed our experience, but that comes with a caveate. We are fairly low maintenance and if your looking for all the bells and whistles, then this probably isn't your place. For the price (175 with tax) we didn't think the amenities were up to par. The rooms were outdated and the service was mediorcre. The hotel is not directly on the beach, but it's only a 1/4 mile walk down the street. The beach it's close to was crowded with locals and people selling goods. Fun experience but if your looking for the luxury experience you might want to look elsewhere.

OK hotel
The room was clean. They advertise a kitchenette and frig, but what they don't tell you it's an extra charge for each. The frig and the cupboard with the dishes etc are zip tied closed, if you open them you are charged a fee -350 pesos a day. This turned me off this otherwise ok hotel. It is a block to the beach down a side street.

Nice hotel and really nice area
Good service but to crowd the hotel and to much traffic in the elevators.
