Spacious and Comfortable Hotel
Overall a good Service and comfortable hotel. PROS: - fast check in and welcoming lobby - spacious room with comfortable bed and amenities - spacious bathroom with small bathtub - swimming pool was good and easy access - restaurant has lots of thai and fusion mix menus with good breakfast. - beach is clean and well safe guarded - good location as near to massage centres, and motor or car rentals. It is about 5-10 mins walk to Chaweng shops. CONS: ROOM - cattle for hot water smells fishy. (did not use even after change) found to that tab water was not advisable to drink - bathroom is not well coverred. opposite room is able to see through a 30cm window in the bathroom. - equipments are aged and in need of updating or servicing - air conditioning was down on the fourth day early morning 5am due to mechanical issues (was given fan as they were in process of fixing) Facilities - swimming pool is far from beach

Staff were helpful, especially Ken. Rooms have been changed since our last stay, where they split previously large plunge pool rooms into two rooms. Was a bit taken back, but liked what we had. We did have an issue with the pillows, which were too large and made sleeping difficult at first. Once you were use to them, then it was okay. As with most places in Thailand, language can be a issue. But honestly, that is part of the charm. Gardens are beautiful and the beach looks amazing. Sadly, you need to pick high tide to swim, as it is very shallow in this area of Samui. Hotels around a km or more south don't have this issue. The breakfast Egg station prepared any type of eggs you wanted and was delicious. Food in the buffet area was cold for the first 4 or 5 days. It wasn't until we talked to Ken that this was rectified for the final few days, which made breakfast most enjoyable. Afternoon cocktails down at the beach during happy hour we great value and we didn't have better cocktails anywhere else in Thailand. We had a couple of meals at the beach restaurant and it was a bit hit and miss. While both were tasty, one dish of BBQ seafood was all cold and a chicken dish was over cooked. We would stay here again, as the location is wonderful and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. You can hire a car or a bike down the road at go rates, but be aware of insurance or lack of insurance. The most dangerous people on the roads, as the tourist motor bike riders.

Good 6.0
Good: The room I selected come with one big room and one small room, there is a pool in between this two room. Is nice and good for the kids to play with. Bad: I experience no hot water, only rectify on the next day. On second days experience dirty water coming out from sink, feedback to hotel that the water stain one of my shirt. But no response from them. But manage to rectify the dirty problem issue. No sorry or any other concern given by the hotel management. This place is full of mosquito, but think this is norm in this island. Bring lot of insect repellent. Overall the bench is nice and beautiful, but food is expensive in this island. Do try out the local food. Is nice .

Briza is on our ‘return’ list.
We booked a beachside room with a private pool. The accommodation didn’t disappoint and the quality of the service was exceptional. From the moment we arrived at the front desk, Ken guided our stay, making recommendations and liaising our choices. But all the staff were exceptional from those advising and servicing drinks and meals to the staff who expedited a pool clean with such speed that the guy was stood poolside, net in hand, before I’d even hung up the phone! This hotel is at the northern end of Chaweng beach which, in my book, is the ideal location. You’re only a few minutes walk from the main bustle and the biggest beach bars but far enough away that it doesn’t intrude if you’d like a more peaceful, quiet, stay. Sure, not everything is perfect all the time - it isn’t the Four Seasons after all - but it gets close enough that it surprises to the upside. My wife and I are seasoned travellers and know a good hotel when we find it. Briza is on our ‘return’ list and, from us, there’s no higher accolade. One final point. On check-in, guests are offered the opportunity to credit their hotel account in advance. If you decide to take it up, and depending how much advance credit you purchase, the hotel will top-up your account with up to 30% free. Our recommendation? Take it! It’s an extremely generous discount off of hotel prices which are more than fair. Finally, as a bonus, the WiFi is better than most of the hotels we’ve stayed at along Chaweng.

Poor 2.0
Staff were Friendly. Private Pool was for private use but in no way "Private" overlooked by other rooms and major access pathway you might as well be in the public pool. If this room was "Deluxe" I would hate to see the normal rooms. Felt more like a Dorm room with old furniture, No Hot water at sink and shower with a single tap and poor water flow direct through a wall mounted instantaneous HWS, more at home in a caravan park. King Sized Bed was two, Very Old, single beds pushed together. Both had creaky springs which were barely covered and the only part of the mattress that wasn't sagged was where they joined in the middle which was rock hard. NO RISK of INTIMACY HERE.. Breakfast offer was poor selection and poor quality.
