Bathrooms were left with pee stains on the toilet seat and hair on the walls. Wifi in room was not working either, had to connect to the wifi of a neighboring room.

I Visited Tulum for my 35th bday with a group of friends. This hotel completely ruined my experience. To start, the hotel advertises nice pictures and amenities that they do not have. It advertises a restaurant that Was only partially complete and only open a small part of the day. After traveling by plane for hrs, 2 hr drive to Tulum from Cancun, check in issues, and then to b told the restaurant was closed at 3pm is absurd. This should absolutely be noted up front. Give ppl the option to decide because now u will have to take a $40 taxi to nearest grocery store and restaurants anytime u want food. The hotel is on a bumpy dirt road filled with puddles so forget wearing any cute new shoes! Also none of the drivers could ever find this hotel, as it’s not on the map. The hotel is also unsafe. There’s a homeless camp literally almost ATTACHED to this hotel where they could have easy access to visitors. There’s no hot tub, as it’s still under construction like many other parts of this hotel. Also the room I booked came with a tub/jacuzzi on the balcony. Hang it up! It was dirty the entire stay even after asking the front seat multiple times to clean it. We didn’t use it one time the whole stay. Even when I attempted to run the water to try to clean it myself, the water was just cold. The ceilings were unfinished, the pool was dirty. The doors to each room are not properly settled to the ground, making it a playground for bugs mosquitoes to crawl under easily!

Review I have stayed at many hotels/resorts and I have NEVER experienced anything even remotely close to that which my family and I had to endure during our stay at Jade Tulum. It was miserable to say the very least. The hotel is in the middle of no where. Taxi drivers weren’t sure of how to get there. The roads around the property are unpaved. They flooded and left us with one way in and out. There were holes in the ceilings. Unfinished elevator shafts with no warning signs. There is some sort of makeshift living space for locals right in back of the hotel. If you look out your door you can hear and see the men sleeping, eating, etc. There is also construction for what I’m guessing is another property right next door. It was EXTREMELY dusty! There’s no washcloths. Only hand towels and bath towels. Certainly the hand towels are too large to use to cleanse your body and I should be given the choice as to whether or not I want to use my hands. Not forced. When requesting new towels, the staff at the front will open each towel and inspect them. Yes, inspect them in front of whomever is there at the time. If by chance there is a stain (makeup, blood, etc) you will be charged $15 per towel. We stayed for 5 days and were without power for 3 days. The power would go out (no rain, no storm) and if it was during the day we were forced to spend $40 per person round trip to go into “the city” to occupy our time. When it went out at night, we had to dress in the dark.

This was thee WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The property lies about having a “rooftop” terrace that isn’t open. They have 1 single place to get food that closes at 3pm daily. The pool was filthy the entire time I was there. Loud construction going on waking you from your sleep. Random people were living right in the back of where your rooms are located. Mosquitos tore me and my husband up inside the hotel rooms while we slept. The water in the shower didn’t get hot, smelled like sewage and tasted like an entire bottle of salt. The power goes on and off for hours throughout the day so be prepared to get dressed in the dark! The hotel desk/staff leaves at a certain time of day so there is no one onsite in case of an emergency in the evening. The taxi drivers didn’t even know where the hotel was located because it’s literally in the middle of no where! The roads to get there were filled with water and not even paved. The front desk staff will take your used towels, open them up in the lobby in front of everyone to inspect what stains you may have on them and charge you for any towel they believe you stained even if it can be washed in the washing machine. There are no wash cloths on-site so you must pay for a cab ride to buy your own or wash with your hand. Remember, you get what you pay for most times. Spend the extra few $100 bucks and stay somewhere else!!!

The hotel is still under construction. There are NO paved roads to the hotel. The hotel has no food! No pool for swimming! A homeless camp is set up behind the hotel that makes you feel unsafe especially that you are in the middle of the jungle

I had an absolute amazing time at Jade tulum hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was located in the jungle but it’s conveniently located 6 mins from tulum hotel zone and 10 mins from the shopping strip. This is a new hotel so they are still building certain areas of the hotel but it will not inconvenience your stay. We stayed in the luxury penthouse suite which was so clean , spacious and had an amazing rooftop view of the jungle from your private pool/ Tub. I know once they finish building the hotel it will be one of the best places to stay in tulum.
