Outstanding Customer Service! I’d go back!
The inn keeper Michelle was very friendly and helpful. Check in wasn’t until 3PM but she aloud us to put our belongings in the room as we wouldn’t of made it in time due to a event. Parking wasn’t bad either. Breakfeast was very bland, but yet it was still decent. Bed was very confortable! I’d go back. Bathroom was a bit small so if your a bigger build person I don’t recommend it. Absolutely great customer service! I didn’t even have to check out!

Place was nice, but the stairs are a death trap and the neighborhood at night is a little sketchy. Rooms were decent. Plenty of room. Decor is a bit off in the rooms. 25 inch tv on a gigantic wall with no other decorations. All in all it was a solid and interesting hotel. For 160 bucks during wrestlemania weekend, you can’t beat it

Convenient
Convenient just right for a couple. May need a heater for winter?

Just okay
We didn't dislike the balcony guest house but I wouldn't recommend it. It was a little out of the way, you could hear any and everything, and the water pressure in the bathroom wasn't good.

Personal service with easy check in. Zak and his crew are friendly and kind, easily accessible either in the bar or by text. Easy walk to Frenchman Street and French Market. Bed was super comfortable and room #11 was spacious. This is a converted duplex making the space unique, adding to the character of the house. Balcony was incredible for morning coffee and people watching. Only downside was central heat/ac control was downstairs and another guest in lower level set temperature making evenings very hot. We slept with french doors open to release the extra heat, minimal outdoor noise and woke up to birds singing. I’d recommend for units to have a portable space heater to accommodate varying guest comfort. Room #11 has a street light just outside the balcony so it doesn’t get very dark at night; black out curtains would be a nice touch. When I return back to NOLA, I would definitely return back to Balcony Guest House!
