The Clay Hotel
The location is superb. Española Way is a great place to eat and shop. The mattresses were terribly uncomfortable and the tv was small. Otherwise the room was clean.

Older hotel. Small room, but clean and quiet. Newly remodeled shower without bathtub. There is an additional fee when you check in ($17 per night).

A Cuban Oasis in Sobe!
A most amazing stay at the Clay pre and post cruise to Cuba! Luis G. and Maria took such great care of us. Liked it there so much I am returning in December for Art Basel. Can't wait! Such a charming oasis with a reminence of old Havana!!

Mildew in Miami
First upon arrival it looks very old town and historic has a little charm to it. Until I approached to check in the young man with highlights was very rude and didn't have a reservation for me which I booked 2 months in advance on after waiting over an hour and calling customer service for as the young man stated it was not their fault over booked me I was given a room key. Keep in mind there is no elevator and my luggage was 50lbs Once inside the room it reeked of mildew and mold but at that point after a missed flight 2 hours waiting for baggage claim and no hotel reservation I was in no capacity to go back down the street and complain so I went to the beach to clear my mind and went to bed. All night I tossed/turned smelling the aweful smell of mildew/mold along with the dampness in the room I couldn't bear it. I we tbti front desk and spoke with Cesar the manager who was very polite and seemed very concerned with trying to satisfy me he offered s newly reminded room even showed it to me which the downside was it was a queen bed no microwave or fridge and no carpet and the bed was super low on a platform no box spring. and the room I was in was a king sized bed with the microwave and fridge so I opted for another room like I was in which smelled clean and fresh when he showed it to me were assisted to the other room We left and returned a few hours later only to have the same. I've been home 5 days and my clothes even stink of mildew
