Exactly as needed and expected
We needed to stay close to the dive shop. The room was spacious, clean, easy parking, right on the canal. It was as advertised and expected. In addition, the staff, from front desk to housekeeping, was friendly and helpful.

Room Reflects the Price
The room reflects the price: small. When requested housekeeping (twice in 6 days) we had to follow up on it -- and then it was only fresh towels and trash. No replenishment of the used toiletries (including TP), fresh linens, nor was the room swept. We were on the first floor and leaves blew in each day, so we did our own sweeping. Do not stay if you are looking for quiet. It is not. On the plus side: the woman at the front desk was VERY friendly, and the one pool was nice and well-maintained.

Enjoyed are stay with a very pleasent staff that made us feel right @home . Room are very clean , beds are good ( for the price ) bathrooms are updated . The rooms could use a Toaster though !

Deceptive ads and photos
We only stayed for one night. We ate the difference in the rate and just moved to another hotel. The room was dirty. There was only one sheet on the bed with a polyester bed cover. There was no water pressure at all. I actually use the sink to bath the next morning as the shower would only drip. There was a very bright light outside of the room, and the blinds were broken so I had to hang a blanket up to prevent light from coming in the room to allow us to sleep. The one night we were there. The air conditioner units sit in the hallway, so you have to maneuver around those to get into your room. I was terribly disappointed and will not recommend this hotel to anyone. On check out I told the person we were leaving early they said goodbye. I was very polite and said, thank you. We moved to another hotel and enjoyed the rest of our stay in Islamorada. Without a hotels.com reservation
