Vienna House Andel's Cracow, Krakow
Very Good8.0
First time in Krakow
We were able to check in early, which was lovely after an overnight flight. The room was adequately sized and the beds were comfortable with good linens. The bathroom was spacious and had a large tub as well as a very good shower. Only complaint was the mirror lighting wasn’t great. Breakfast was included and it was very good. Location was perfect for everything and was very close to the main train station.

Nothing negative to say--hotel location, room, services and staff were all outstanding. I appreciated how many computers and printers the hotel had located throughout the hotel--it made travel so much easier. I hope to return!

Great location near Old Town
Good experience. Room was clean and comfortable. Modern decor. Stand up shower only, no tub. Location was great for sightseeing, restaurants and shopping.

Great hotel with first-class service. Breakfast was a little expensive, but, if you can eat one meal a day and live, it's worth it!

Modern design with comfortable beds
The staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was generous and well prepared. The beds were VERY comfortable, and the bathroom had both a shower and a soaking tub. The hotel is on a plaza just across from the train station, so it's easy to locate and settle in if arriving by train. It is in a quiet pedestrian area about a five minute walk, if that, to the old town. The hotel has a pleasant modern decor which is a nice compliment to the historic architecture of Krakow. It was nice to leave the old city at night and retire to a place with a different atmosphere a bit off the beaten path. There's a post office open 24/7 on the same plaza so it's easy to send postcards or buy stamps. (I gave a 4 for location above because it's outside the old town and there's not much around it other than the station and other hotel, but as I said, that's not necessarily a bad thing,) It looked like there was a nice hotel bar, but we did not try it. The restaurant is quite nice, but we only had breakfast there. I originally wanted to stay in a historic hotel in the old town, but after staying at the Andel I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.
