So-So Stay - Poor Service
This hotel was a little dated, but it was okay. Had a musty/sulfar smell on our floor the last two days of our stay. I left my sweater behind. When I called to see if they would send it to me, they told me I would incur postage. I totally understand that, and I wouldn't expect them to pay that. What was extremely disappointing is that they wanted to charge me an $8 service charge on top of the postage for sticking it in the mail. That's ridiculous!!!

Cute boutique hotel with charm
One of my favorite places to stay in San Diego. Nice location, near enough to the convention center, but far enough away to be affordable. So cute.

Hard bed, thin walls - but friendly and clean
I stayed on the second floor. The walls are paper thin and could hear people walking around, closing doors, rustling around in their room, walking around on the third floor (above), etc. If you need a lot of quiet, this may not be the hotel for you. Additionally, the beds are uncomfortable - I could feel the springs through the mattress. The people at the front desk were attentive and friendly and the rooms were clean and in good condition (with the exception of the bed as mentioned above). All in, would likely not stay here again.
