Downtown spacious bld
We stayed 7 nites while visiting my daughter who was attending UCT. Location was great in downtown area. Rooms was very big and modeled a luxury apt more than a hotel room. Lobby area had a great coffee shop with free WiFi and two good places to eat. The Thai place was one of the better dinners we had. Overall a great place to stay if wanting a downtown location. Only issue we had was spotty WiFi whioch weemed to be more of a S Africa type issue.

Never again!
The room was dirty, mold around the shower, carpets stained, & other floors scratched up. When we asked the maid how to use the washing machine, she didn't know & called a supervisor, who also didn't know. Rooms were drafty. We booked 3 rooms in October & wanted them close together. We were on 3 different floors, which made it impossible to dine together. We didn't want to hall chairs, dishes, etc. from one floor to another.

Spent 4 nights here enjoying the central location and ease of the area. This was our first trip to Cape Town (we are from VT) and safety was a large concern. Felt very safe in and around the hotel, and there were plenty of good places to eat very right in the area. Appreciated having a washer and dryer in the unit, and the full kitchen was nice also even if we didn't really use it. Would stay again!

Affordable and large serviced apartments with a fe
In a nutshell, this is a set of serviced apartments inside an office building more than a hotel. It was a little more expensive than some similar properties I looked at in Cape Town city center, but I think it was worth the extra money to have an apartment - it had a LOT of space (two bedrooms/bathrooms, and large kitchen/dining/living area for a downtown city area), and while it has visibly been some years since the last renovation, the furnishings and renovation were fairly up-to-date (probably re-done in the last ten years). I would rate the quality of sleep (beds) and shower above average. The kitchen was well-stocked enough to do light cooking - there is a small food market across the street to buy groceries, but also plenty of cafes and restaurants around - breakfast/Italian restaurant and coffee shop right inside the building. Going to the gym means actually going to a real, large gym around the corner where they give you a pass. The city center area was good to get oriented, but far from charming, especially after dark - would not be choice of location if visiting from leisure with so many nicer neighborhoods in Cape Town. The biggest flaws: (1) The windows are old and cheap and offer little insulation against weather and street noise. (2) Their hot water temperature is scalding. I had to continually play with the cold and hot taps to keep from getting myself burned. (3) There was noticeable wear and tear in the apartments
