Grand Balisani Suites, Seminyak

Very nice people, nice location. Property is nice. But room amenities are little outdated. I think they are in the middle of upgrading the property. Overall nice stay.

The room was super comfortable. Nice and big with beautiful teak doors and furniture. The grounds is what I loved the most of this location. Giant chess sets, gorgeous pool with swim up bar, billiard table near the lobby, and all the koi ponds are great too. If I was to come again with friends I would get a delux suite. They have these nice suites with private tubs outside facing the ocean. Front desk was efficient however overly friendly or helpful.

Its nice small boutique property at the corner of Seminiyak. 10 minutes from Seminiyak Sqaure ( if no traffic) with traffic it could 30 min-45 mins. The retaurant is average. Not much vegeterian options are there. Food is better in Market then hotel. It has not beach front but the sand is blackish( not the fault of hotel) its same all around seminiyak.

We stayed at the Grand Balisani due to the convenient location just between Seminyak and Canggu, and also near Ku De Ta, the W Hotel, 707 and other venues, when my partner had meetings in the area. The hotel is a little bit older, but the surroundings and gardens are beautiful, and the staff very kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet isn’t ideal if you’re vegetarian or vegan, and overall, there’s not a lot to choose from - hopefully they’ll improve this in the future. The location right on the beach is perfect, and the pool and sunbathing area also very nice. In the evening, it’s very nice to take a beach stroll (5-10 mins) down to one of the beach clubs, i.e Potato Head, Ku de ta or even the bar at the W Hotel. There’s plenty to do around the hotel, and a cheap moped rental is located just outside the hotel gates. Good value for money given it’s a cheaper place to stay.

The location was fantastic if the ladies at the reception desk did not assist us definitely I leave this hotel.
