No bed bugs
No bed bugs in room #111. Arrived late and stayed late the next morning. Everything was great! The bed sunk into the middle, but everything else was fine for what we needed

Very Good8.0
Decent stay
Our stay was very nice. The employees at the front desk were all very friendly. There was a broken picture hanging on the wall in our room and there were some stains on the sheets and towels. Other than those things, the stay was pleasant.

It Could Have Been Better!!
I chose this hotel due to: location, referral & that online it states they have a Deep Soaking Bathtub. I paid around $400!! I drove 8hrs & 30mins from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to Stockbridge, GA for an unfortunate funeral. The check-in was fine until I went up to my room & realized what is advertised on their website plus what I paid for isn't what I received. I was highly interested in the Deep Soaking Bathtub as a way to unwind before & after the funeral. I expressed my concern & they offered to move me to a suite, which was pointless b/c the only difference was that the suite was more spacious. The current room I received & the suite offered to me, had all the similar features. I didn't need the extra space. The manager to me showed a nonchalant demeanor & did seem willing enough to provide EXCELLENT customer service for such a nice hotel! To add salt to injury, I was awakened 2 days in a row to loud drilling, banging & etc due to renovations that was occurring on the floor. Nobody stated that there was renovations going on. I did NOT want to be awaken at 8am & hear all the noise until about 5pm! As much as I wanted to go to another hotel, it was not in my favor since I am not from Georgia & the hotel was in close proximity to the funeral location. I attempted to contact corporate & it was a dead end! I requested for a refund, even a partial refund but the manager refused. I would not refer this location! It left a nasty taste & horrible experience. Breakfast was okay.

Horrible experience
Let me start by saying I always stay in Sleep Inn hotels when I travel to the south because I have had good experiences, however this Sleep Inn in Stockbridge, Ga was disgusting, the hotel room permeated of cigarette smoke, I informed the front desk and the lady was very pleasant and offered me some febreeze. The Febreeze was okay the first night because I was able to leave the air conditioner on however it was cold outside so I couldn't keep the air conditioner on and the room smelled disgusting, the towels were dingy as well as the shower curtain. The entire hotel just gave me the creeps. I wanted to leave and get a room at another hotel however I was extremely tired from my conference. To top off my displeasure I saw a black bug crawling on top of the ceiling. I think it was some sort of beatle. After this horrible experience I would never stay in another Sleep inn hotel, sometimes it just pays to spend more money and be comfortable rather than being cheap and be uncomfortable. Lastly, this hotel is right next door to Magnolia "motel and another "motel" all of these hotels including the Sleep Inn looks like hotels were "call girls" go to do their business. I really hope this helps another traveler because I do not want ANYONE to experience what I did.
