Super Convenient and Clean
The location worked very well for us. Being vegan it is essential I can find the right places to eat at. Even this was easy from this location. That says a lot! The front desk staff helpful, always available, and spoke English. While the room was small (no surprise for such an old historic building), the room view which was bright, and pleasant made up for it. We enjoyed being in the middle of the city action. That's what we came for. We walked everywhere and when it was tour time they met us at the tourist office right in the center and drove us to where we needed to go. So we never needed transportation, it was that well located. Pubs, restaurants, mini-marts and stores all around. The only issue we had was that there definitely was some mold in the bathroom that could have been taken care of. I did not feel I should have brought that to the attention of management. They should check such things on a regular basis. I would have asked to change rooms when we arrived but I liked the view and spent little time in the room anyway. But for health reasons this should be attended to. This did not however, take away from the overall cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Having coffee/tea in the room and in the lobby was also good to have. All in all, the hotel was a fair price, and I got the feeling the staff were always trying their best.

Fair 4.0
Not the greatest
"Double" bed was 2 single mattresses pushed together. Shower was tiny and poorly designed to make it almost impossibly small. Skimpy on the toiletries. Front desk staff was very friendly.

I disliked the smell
I stayed at the 3rd floor. The corridor and my room were sank in food/cooking smell. I honestly couldn’t sleep as I felt like vomiting from the smell. Otherwise the room was ok, even though small, but bed was comfortable and toilet was ok. I think you should do something about the smell, it’s really something it will stop me from booking again, even though the position of the hotel is great. The staff were nice and helpful.

Poor 2.0
Just awful -- avoid if possible.
On the edge of the horrible area, which is the majority of the town. So small, so dirty, so unwelcoming. Some staff were polite enough, but clearly miserable with their working conditions. Bed was horribly uncomfortable and itchy -- didn't sleep a wink.

Nice place, center but small.
