The beds we very firm. Music until late at night kept us up. Service very very slow.

The hotel nd our suite were beautiful. Note that the location is on top of a hill and remote so visitors need cabs to get anywhere. (This was not a problem for us but the site is simply not central.) We received top-notch service and restaurant tips from Maria and Thiebault. However their housekeeping was severely lacking...We returned to the room at dinnertime (after sightseeing) to find the place not yet made up. A call to the front desk did not speedily resolve issue and I was actually told that my request was not a priority to housekeeping staff. I went downstairs to speak with a Manager who agreed the service was inexcusable...and got the issue resolved. Additionally, the tv never worked, despite daily request for repair. There was a small leak from the ceiling. Our wake-up call at departure never came. So I would say the place is lovely but spotty housekeeping service and maintenance problems make the premium pricing an issue.

This was my second time staying in this hotel. First time around I was very satisfied. This time they tried to put us in one of only a handful of rooms which was not accessible by elevator despite having a 3 month old with buggy/stroller etc. We naturally refused to take the room and were offered the only other room. It had none of the features or views advertised for the category of room we paid for - stained light switches, torn wallpaper, broken glass on the end of the bathroom door. We said we weren’t satisfied but it was take the room or leave the hotel and with a 3 month old that just wasn’t possible. I am surprised at how we were treated and I am willing to say it is not consistent with our first stay but they still charged us full price. They entirely missed the point here and really let themselves down. This is the only negative review I have ever left despite staying over 100 nights on this site.

Our stay at Hotel Miramar was wonderful and forever memorable. It was our little oasis in the City and we spent a lot of time our their grounds because they are so beautiful and offer such wonderful views of the City below. The only downside is that the hotel is a good distance away from the Gothic Quarter, which was our favorite place to visit. That being said, I would stay at Hotel Miramar again if we return to Barcelona.

This is an amazing hotel with only the best to offer. We stayed there twice and will now make this our go to hotel when in Barcelona in the future. Absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. The pool is amazing. The rooms are awesome and so spacious especially for European hotels. The first room we had was a deluxe room and seriously was top notch. The second room we had was a suite and was humongous. The balcony was amazing and the view was absolutely stunning. I love this hotel and he staff were all so helpful and very on point with everything. The reception check in was flawless and Natasha who checked me in was so friendly. I hope to get to see her again.
