Staff was very friendly. Quiet. Amazing view. We did not mind the walk into town, though it is 200 stairs down to get into town and 200 when you come back (if you walk). We simply cooled off in the pool.
Excellent stay as always. We will return.
The view is the best...but a lot of stairs, you can walk to town but i wouldnt walk home.
This is an ideal place if you are not particular in how modern the place is. You can’t beat the price for the amazing view. It’s a very traditional villa with colorful interior design. It has all the amenities you will need; WiFi; drinking water; dishes; fans; AC; and a television. The staff is very friendly and they keep the place very clean. The pool is well kept, they clean it every night. I had only planned to stay there for two days and booked an extra two nights because it felt safe. The staff monitors who comes in and out of the facility. This place is about 7 minutes to town and the staff calls you a secure taxi for 60 pesos. They have a small restaurant that is very authentic and cheaper than most restaurants in town. I would have loved to be able to bike to town early in the morning or late afternoon for a quick workout. I suggest maybe having bikes on site that guest can rent or use. Other than that, I had an amazing stay.
Beautiful views. Really nice room. Will visit here again!
The view is the best thing about this property. You have to taxi home if you dont like walking up hill and stairs. Lots of stairs if you dont get the second floor.
My negative review is not reflective of an actual state. I accidentally booked this hotel, and within 15 minutes got back to Hotels.com to see if there were a grace period for cancellation. I called Hotels.com twice. While on hold, the representative told me that spoken to the front desk and they were not authorized to reverse the charge. Both times I was told that within 24 hours a manager would get back in touch with Hotels.com with verification that we could cancel the reservation. I never heard back either time. I’m not sure of the negative review is of this hotel or hotels.com.
Gorgeous view and great prices. There are many steps, but worth it!
Great view, we enjoyed the pool, 3 nights/Dec 8-11/19 ...our room (#6) was one of the "standard" rooms with a balcony- where we enjoyed our morning coffee (coffee maker supplied) we walked into town ( for sightseeing and shopping. There is a restaurant at the hotel which I believe is a fairly new addition, cannot review as we didn't try it.. We can recommend "Letys" for dinner, located on the same side of the harbour canal, it's easy walk if you have no problems with the 200 stair steps down to the road. See reviews on Trip Advisor... Taxi back up from town was 60 Pesos at the time of our stay. one note: there is a new pier being constructed and while it's far enough away not to rattle you, it may be a small nuisance for some... you will experience that noise if going within the next few months We would stay again....
170 stairs down to water road, may not be for everyone.
