Great hotel for the price near sights.
All the hotel employees were extremely friendly and helpful. The downstairs restaurant had great food but was a bit pricy. I would still recommend to other and stay again in the future.

Nice hotel but not a great location
Rooms were Ok but the general location requires a short taxi ride to get to anywhere. I stayed previously near the BTW rail system and found that much more convenient. The Wi-Fi was free but annoying to have to enter a special code for each use. The staff was awesome and very helpful.

There are better options
The hotel itself was ok. However, the first staff we encountered at check in was rude and not helpful at all. The service staff was great though, they brought us extra towels and water when we needed it. My friend's room's ac did not work and had fruit flys in the room. The taxi service right outside of the hotel is horrible as well. I would definitely not recommend using their service. For one we wanted to book the shuttle for a cab ride less than 2 miles away. My friends understood Thai and kept trying to tell the guy at the kisok where we wanted to go before booking. He kept insisting the place we wanted to go was farther. Finally we pulled up the place on the map and showed him the place. My friend then clearly heard him talk to the driver, who said "they are American, charge them this..." we ended up paying 700 baht to go less than 2 miles. On the way back we paid 60 baht for the exact same ride. I understand people always charge tourists more, however, I would never expect that blatant overcharge directly from the hotel and on top of that most of the front desk staff being so rude. I would not recommend this hotel.

OK, but nothing special
I was on a business trip to Bangkok and chose to stay at this hotel merely because of its location, as it is quite close to the UN. The hotel needs refurbishing, as it feels quite old. Having a balcony was great, as I was able not to smoke in the room. The neighborhood is terrible, there is absolutely nothing around. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and everything was closed. Buying a can of soda proved to be quite a challenge. Staff were alright - not as nice as staff in other Bangkok hotels. We wanted to go to Sukhumvit, which was a problem as the hotel could not find us a taxi. The same happened when we asked them to help find a metered taxi to go to the airport on the last day. Food was OK, nothing extraordinary. The Italian restaurant was great, on the other hand. Overall, a bit pricy for the quality offered. Would I stay there again? Probably yes, but only if I am in Bangkok for a business trip to the UN.
