Located in the commercial center of Colares, and just right in front of Praia das Maçãs; my home is perfect for a quick beach getaway, or those who want to laze by the sea during the warm summer months. Fully furnished and equipped with all the amenities and conveniences necessary to make guests feel comfortable throughout the duration of their stay. The apartment is accessed via a flight of stairs, and is comprised of 2-bedrooms, an open-plan living area and a bathroom. You'll appreciate the airiness and spaciousness my apartment encompasses as you step inside: natural sunlight emanates throughout the apartment, helping calm the senses and improve your mood, while the red tiles and wooden ceilings lend a sense of homeliness, lulling you into a sense of cosiness, especially during the cooler summer nights. The first area you'll experience would be the main living area, which consists of a fully-equipped kitchen (with microwave, toaster and kettle), a four-person dining table, two sofas and a television. The larger bedroom comes with a double bed and storage, while the secondary room comes with a single bed (ideal for children). Both are lined in hotel-quality linens and bedsheets to ensure a good night's rest. The bathroom has all the basics of shower, toilet, sink and mirror; please be mindful that the floor easily gets wet and slippery when showering. Fresh towels and toiletries are provided at no extra cost. Cleaning and sanitisation will be done before your anticipated arrival. Enjoy! Guests will have access to the entire home! At the foot of the Sintra mountains and very close to the sea, the town of Colares is absolutely delightful and has long been a very popular summer resort. Colares is also a demarcated wine-growing region, producing the very popular and increasingly rare Colares wine, which can be tasted at the Adega Regional, in a very beautiful building in the town centre. Right next to it is the tram station which links Sintra with Praia das Maçãs in the summer months. In the environs of Colares are the beaches of Praia das Maças, Praia Grande and Adraga, and the typical village of Azenhas do Mar, with its whitewashed houses inset in the side of a cliff. Your check will be arranged with a greeter at the property . Please note that late check-in after 22:00 has a surcharge of EUR 20. Check-ins from midnight to 07:00 have a surcharge of EUR 30.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking in the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 EUR smoking fee, at minimum.
Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€ included.
