Reconquista Garden Hotel, Buenos Aires

Reasonable stay in central part of town.
This (older?) hotel is in a good location near tourist sites/restaurants/shopping/public transportation. Care of the property is somewhat neglected. Our room had no toilet paper and 2 out of 3 light bulbs in the living area did not work. Staff were quick to fix. Also note that any room below level 2 is probably not recommended, as subway apparently runs directly under the street in front of building. We were on level 1 and listened to the rumblings much of the night.

Convenient, and economical, but with terrible WiFi
The room is fine, and has air conditioning. The bed was pretty comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size. Breakfast is included which is nice, although the breakfast was in my opinion too heavily skewed towards bread. Not much in the way of fruit. WiFi was absolutely horrible. I could connect only infrequently, and when I could it was very slow. Definitely not great when traveling for business. The gym is not very good (1 treadmill, 2 stationary bikes, and a few free weights). Location is very convenient in the middle of the the center of the city and within walking distance of many good restaurants. As a hotel option for a business trip it isn't that great. If you are visiting the city and planning on being out of the room most of the time it is fine.

A bad review.
The street in front of the hotel was under construction. The receptionist had an odd attitude, a little bit annoying. The beds were really small, the t.v. very old. One of the rooms had an issue with the shower... Not an hotel I would come back for any reason.
